Jack came to my house on a Saturday morning to trim a large Ash tree at the back of our garden. We're currently landscaping our garden and it was a bit of a mess. This didn't phase Jack, he assessed it all and was up the tree in no time. He did a great job of the tree and trimming the hedges. He tidied everything up after himself and was away and the rate was very reasonable.Its refreshing to meet someone who actually really enjoys their job and because of this he actually cares about what he's doing. I would 100% recommend this company to anyone looking for a tree surgeon.

We worked with Cromwell Forestry last week helping them recycle some logs they previously removed from a couple of sites. Ordinarily they would either have been firewood or composted. Instead, some of them have been milled into sleepers which will be used to form walls in the yard to separate different waste streams. Additionally, some really nice pieces of Cherry, Elm, Oak and spalted Maple turned up and these are now available to buy from them as milled slabs and mantels.A company truly focussed on doing the right thing for the environment.

Large tree stump removed from a difficult to access part of the garden.From receiving a quote to the job being done was around 10 days. Took much longer than anticipated but the original quote was honoured with no suggestion of any additional cost. the garden was the completely swept and the hole filled in.Extremely impressed and can't fault any part of the experience. Very professional, fast and friendly service. Can't recommend them enough!

Highly recommended. All work completed within days of survey. Professional, reliable, hardworking and courteous. A selection of large/small trees, and bushes, cut down and removed - leaving everywhere tidy. Very reasonable price. It was a pleasure to have such a friendly, courteous duo working at our house. I have no hesitation in recommending them or their work.

My neighbour called them to cut back my their tree which was growing into our garden. They did a fanstatic job and left our garden clear!

Very pleased the the ton bag of screened woodchip bark. Lovely quality. Delivery was prompt and deposited where I needed it. Can thoroughly recommend.

Totally unreliable and untrustworthy. Did a brilliant job last year but unwilling to even provide a quote this year! Presume they must have got too big and only want higher value jobs. We wanted a hedge to be cut - cost £200 last year. Gareth promised to provide a quote but then failed to deliver, after 2 weeks of first leaving a message then talking to him a week latet but nothing. Would not recommend.

Having had a number of “garden and tree professionals’” complete work at various properties I can happily recommend this company and the two partners.The initial problem was aphids and other insect infestation of the apple trees which they dealt with in the early summer. Coming back to spray and treat the trees a second time to make sure the problem was resolved. It was and we had a really good crop of fruit in the autumn.The second job these extremely hard working guys did was the pruning apple trees, plus trimming several bushes and a major cutback of Ivy. The job was done with care, and precision and the whole garden was left clean and tidy as was the footpath adjoining.They communicate well and understood what was needed but sensibly pointed out what should be done, when and how. They also turn up on the day they agree with you and charged a very competitive rate.

Following their previous great reviews I asked for a quote. They were on time, friendly and very professional, The removal of our 16 x 40 foot Leylandii didn't phase them at all. They sent me a detailed quote which was the cheapest by far.They have done a brilliant job. You can't tell the trees were ever there as they removed the stumps and every bit of rubbish. The garden was cleaner than before by the time they were finished. Again they sent a detailed final bill which mirrored the quote.Would definitely recommend them. The best workmen I have ever encountered.
