Hardy Carpets

Excellent choice of quality carpets, very pleasant helpful staff, quick delivery (especially compared to a certain national retailer ) and a good pair of guys who quickly upifted the old carpet and fitted the new one. I would certainly reccomend them.

Fantastic place. Huge warehouse, great range of choice on carpets, laminate and flooring etc, and we’ve dealt with 3 different members of staff now on different occasions and they were all really lovely and consistantly fantastic and friendly. We were impressed with the range of carpet shops since moving to St Austell, so it was hard to choose, friends recommended Hardys and we are glad they did. We’ve got a lovely quality carpet for our lounge which was expertly fitted in rapid time (think hos name was Russell…) and then we have booked for our stairs and landing this month and we we’re so happy. All you want from a carpet store is good pricing, good choice and good service and we well and truely got that. Also got some bargain offcuts for our office and shed that we fitted ourself to save some money(always harder job than you think). Will be getting all of our flooring fromHardys for sure.

The actual carpet and carpet fitter we're fine but awful awful customer service. Had to be late for work twice after they we're 2 hours late for measurements. Lost the measurements. Carpet delayed and booking it in. Once i complained about the issues still never got an apology. Attitude stinks inside the store as well. Wont be returning.

Bought carpets recently for living room, dining room and hall, had them fitted last week and can't fault the service we received, fitters where on time and despite the heat never stopped.Highly recommend.

I am so disappointed. Have always used Hardys, will never do so again. Carpets are terrible after less than 12 months. Bad sales advice and equally bad customer service. Such a shame as they always used to be so good. Definitely not now.Update following response from Hardys.I appreciate that Hardy carpets have responded, but unfortunately, the information contained isn't wholly true. The issues were there long before the carpet was cleaned, and it was rinsed, which has been relayed to Hardy carpets. I am not one to express dissatisfaction publicly, but the information is not correct. I washed the carpets to try and improve their look, the issues are not caused by this. I would never intentionally do an injustice to a small business, and have always supported small local businesses, hence always using them previously. If the problem was the cleaning, it would be across the whole carpet and it is not.

Awful customer service, total lack of professionalism and empathy for their customers. Unfortunately will not recommend or return for their services.

Linda was of great help over the phone and on the email when we had to replace the carpet in our rental property and were not able to go into the store in person.I have been using Hardy Carpets for the last 6 years and would highly recommend them for their choice and customer service in particular.Good to support local also.

Can't even be bothered to call back to book an appointment to measure up. Visited the store in Truro on Saturday and it was closed.

We needed a carpet fitted urgently. We struggled to find anywhere that would help us fit a carpet next day. We finally came across Hardy Carpets in St Austell. They were so helpful and accommodating. We chose a carpet and a decent underlay there and then and it was fitted the next morning on time! Also the fitters were excellent!

Shopped @ Hardys for 30 years, my recent visit will be my last. Lazy and uninterested staff at St Aufel that spout mis information like true professionals. Left hand doesn't even now the right! Terrible service on the day of ordering, Nr 5 weeks later and still using excuses and blaming each other for lack of fitting!
