Second year staying here for the Silverstone Festival weekend. Great location for access to the circuit.Onsite pub is handy. Plenty of toilets and showers, although if anything I'd say that they weren't in quite as good condition this year with loose loo roll holders loose and some showers only running cold.Still better than a lot of sites I've stayed on though.

Very large campsite next to Silverstone motor racing circuit. Large events have live music, fairground rides and multiple eating and drinking options in a festival village atmosphere. Some permanent toilet / shower blocks with additional trailer type facilities which are usually very well kept. Can be quite a long walk to the track but tractor trailer shuttles help and there is no closer alternative these days. The only real negative is security on arrival. They really want to pack everyone in very close together which can be a problem if you have a large tent and a lot of stuff and could also lead to an increased fire risk. (There are no fire patrols, unlike some other large motor racing campsites) Also prices are now quite significant although drink prices are much lower than the extortionate circuit prices. Sometimes pre pitched tents are available. Overall there is a lot to like about this place, including some good green ideas. I just find some of the rules and restrictions a little too tight and the price a little to high.

Don’t think to much into the reviews. This was our first time at Woodlands and we really enjoyed it.Staff and security were always so helpful, friendly and happy. Silverstone Circuit is only a 5/10 minute walk from the campsite.Getting into the campsite was well organised. Do expect a wait (we waited an hour) but be patient as the staff were working hard handing out wristbands, bin bags and entertainment leaflets on arrival and directing vehicles.More than enough food and drink stalls to choose from, a bit pricey but much cheaper than eating/drinking at Silverstone Circuit. You can take your own beverages and food into the main part where all the entertainment etc is anyway if you wanted too.Plenty of taps to refill water bottles etc on site and many sinks outside the toilet and shower facility blocks to do your washing up.They have a pamper tent which provides sockets and large mirrors for you to be able to use hair tools etc.Toilets and showers were clean and always stocked up. Do expect a bit of uncleanliness during peak times (take flip flops or sliders) but difficult for staff to maintain as they do get busy and not a lot of space for them to move around people to tidy up. Also in peak times, they hand out shower tokens which gives you 5 minutes in the shower. It does not seem like a lot but I was waiting 20+ minutes on the first couple of days for a shower when this was not enrolled. It does keep the queues down. Water was always hot. Pressure was not excellent but what do you expect with that many people using them at once.Entertainment is spot on, you will not be bored here. There is always something on! Along with fair rides. There is also a on site shop with essentials which was always fully stocked throughout the weekend. The only thing I will mention is that there were a lot of staff monitoring the area with motor homes and none by the tent pitches and people were blasting music until half 5 every morning. I’m not one to dull on people’s fun, but myself and my partner were wanting to get a good nights sleep, which is difficult already when you’re camping, as we wanted to get up early to head to the track (bring ear plugs!!!). I also think this should be monitored for the respect of other campers. It would be the same if you were at home. Can’t say anything about getting out on the last day as we left a day early as we had work!We will be back. Thank you to the Woodlands staff of 2023, you did a fantastic job.

Stopped there this year for Moto GP after a few years of stopping elsewhere. It’s not cheap but the entertainment and food stalls etc make it worth it. My only complaint is that the fresh water taps seem to be in just one place .

A very well run campsite for the F1 circus. Well laid out with enough space, even for bigger groups with multiple tents and shelters. BBQ's are allowed but must be raised off the floor. The bars and food outlets on site, of which there are many to choose from, are priced a little higher than I would like, but I guess they do have a captive audience. Great entertainment at night also, with live bands and DJ's, and areas for the kids to run around.Showers and toilets are well maintained, but due to heavy usage at peak times, they can sometimes get a little grubby, but otherwise, they are clean.
