Yet another ☆☆☆☆☆ service from Chris and Gail,Myself and wife decided that we wanted to change our car and whilst looking on the website we noticed a couple of cars we were interested in. I contacted Chris and we went yo view them and decided on 1 which we were offered a test drive in.We then decided to have a think about it over night which was not an issue and went back the following day to accept the offer from Chris.Thankyou both again and lovely dealing with you, we would both Highly recommend Chris Hodgson Car Sales Ltd after your purchase.

While I can acknowledge the amiable nature of the owners, the same cannot be said for the quality of the car I purchased. It pains me to write this review, as the owners were genuinely kind and accommodating throughout the purchasing process. However, the undeniable truth remains: the car I bought from them was an absolute disaster.From the moment I took possession of the vehicle, it was plagued with troubles. Despite the congeniality of the owners, it became evident that the car itself was nothing short of subpar. The mere fact that I had to bring it in for repairs three times to the owner within the first six months.Once the guarantee period expired, the true extent of the car's abysmal quality was laid bare. I found myself repeatedly pouring money into repairs, amounting to over £2000 (I am not counting MOT, tyres or filters) over the course of just one and a half years. This financial strain was a direct result of the car's constant need for fixing, and it was a frustrating and disheartening experience.The laundry list of problems I encountered with this car was extensive. Brake calipers failed, the fuel injector malfunctioned, and even the air conditioning system ceased to function altogether and much much more.While the owners may present a friendly demeanor, my experience with the car I bought was nothing short of disastrous.Car reg dv12 xvc, renault megane. Maybe I should attach our contract here? I dont do reviews for points, I only do review when something is really good or wrong.Here are only a few receipts. I started to throw them away later on because who would buy a car like that with so many troubles in the past? Nobody.When you checked my opinions, I bet you saw one:'Fantastic lad, I had an engine error call on the way back to Scarborough, and he kindly fixed it for me so that I could come back home safely.'That one cost me 720 quid later on.

Have know Chris for a lot of years. An ex work college. And recently met Gail. A friendly helpful professional experience when buying my BMW recently. Lovely well presented vehicle, great warranty cover. Chris completed all the paperwork on line for me saving a great deal of time. 5 star service. Thanks.

I've just bought my second car from Chris and Gail and once again I am one very happy customer. Chris and Gail made sure I knew what I was buying, showed me round the car, good test drive to get a feel of the car, no pressure to buy, answered all my questions. Part exchange no problem and very good prices offered. Chris and Gail will talk you through step by step the sales process and make sure your happy with everything before you buy. After care is excellent, any questions or problems let them know and they will make sure everything gets sorted. Cars come with an excellent 6 month warranty. If we could have given 10 stars we would have. Chris & Gail & Ben were amazing, nothing is too much trouble the service is amazing, they were so amazing we ended up buying 2 cars. If you are looking to purchase a car then I would 100% drive the extra miles to buy from here. We stopped by just to take a look as we were unsure what car we were looking for. Gail was fantastic, showed us around several cars and took time to talk to us. No pressure to buy. We went away to talk things through. We returned a few days later after looking into our options. We tried another car and decided to go ahead. From our first visit to buying our car and driving out of the garage the customer service was lovely. Super easy process, and we now have a perfect car to fit our needs.
