My father and I were in Liverpool to celebrate his birthday and for Father's Day. We booked Meet for Monday night at 6.30pm. We were seated immediately and every server who attended us was so incredibly friendly and helpful but they didn't hover or make you feel like you were on a timer.I ordered the 12oz rump steak with chips and my Dad ordered the 14oz rib eye on the bone. We both ordered them medium and they came out perfectly cooked to order and the seasoning was amazing. I've never had such a beautifully seasoned steak before. I ordered pepper sauce with my meal and honestly, as nice as it was, the steak didn't need anything added to make it better.Along with chips, all steaks are served with a lovely fresh salad and homemade chimichurri dipping sauce which was incredible!! After our plates were cleared, the staff very kindly brought out cake for my Dad's birthday and sang to him! I ordered the Nutella and Oreo Cheesecake which was so delicious I was sorry I was too full to finish it!!Meet is a must visit if you're in the area!!

Well, We visited Meet first time , and honestly We did not disappoint. We love steak and Our expectations towards food/steak is very high. We ordered a starter and a Rib Eye + Rump Steak Caramelised onion + Blue cheese. All I can say from now I will have to rethink the scoring option of the quality of food related to steaks , as these experience put the standard right up there. Best steaks We ever had, Recommend to anybody who loves food, will not get disappointed. And I don’t have to say , the potions are more than decent. Staff , hospitality were also great and , the place it self special and given the expected atmosphere. Thank You We will be back.

Been here 9/10 times over the last couple of years and it's not what it was. I have seen recent reviews are hit and miss and last night was really poor and the attitude of who I think was the manager is as bad as some other people have commented. The steak was chewy and bland, I suspect the meat either hadn't been bought to room temp prior to cooking or it was a cheaper cut. Really really poor, we highlighted the issue and was told I'll get you another one with a shrug of the shoulders but no apology and as it was all 3 of us who had the same problem and we didn't have time to wait for another steak to be cooked we made up our mind then we just wouldn't return. At the same time of our complaint we witnessed the table opposite also complaining so we was not the only table getting served up sub par food. I would never go again now or recommend the place like I have done in the past and with Gusto opening up around the corner and cowshed doing well I'd be amazed if they are here in a year or so. Save your money, there is much better options available and that's sad to say as some of the staff over the years have been lovely and if your the owner take action and bin off that poor excuse of a manager before your business gets run into the ground.

The Parillada is an absolute bang for your buck, easily plenty of food for 2 people, a ton of food and it was absolutely delicious. The beef ribs were my favorite, they were extremely tender, to-die-for level delicious. The pork ribs were fall-off-the-bone and great too. Best meal I've had in a long time.

Busy Friday night but the service was excellent.I love black pudding and was surprised to see it as a starter, Spanish flavoured. It was OK but don’t let that put you off, it’s just flavoured differently to what I’m used to, I had to try it.My main was a medium 16oz sirloin. This steak and it’s flavouring was next level. Frankly, It was the best I’ve ever eaten, anywhere.Great night, great food and friendly staff.5 stars.

We had the empanadas to start. They were tangy, tasted off and definitely not freshly made. However they were hot and arrived quickly, the taste let them down. We also shared the surf and turf. The steak came out blue even though we ordered medium rare and when we asked them to cook it a bit longer it came back rare. We did eat some of it but it wasn’t pleasant as it wasn’t what we asked for. The server/ manager who brought back the steak told us he would come and check the steak was okay but he never did which was a bit of a let down. The scampi was okay and the prawns were decent but they did smell very fishy so I didn’t eat them. Overall the service was great but for the price (e.g. £4.50 for garlic butter that had no garlic in it) and quality of food I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.

Update 10.03.23 steak and meal was absolutely perfect. Customer’s walking in though and keeping door open was making restaurant cold and staff weren't managing it.Update friday 06.01.23 .been this place numerous times and always loved it.. however on this occasion steak was cold. We were sat right by the chefs who weren't too pleased when I sent it back for a flash in the pan.. again it came back luke warm.. so I sent it back again. I could see chef having a go at waiter so I intervened and complained directly.. they begrudgingly sorted it. when your spending nearly 70 quid it should be hot.. my mash went cold in mean time.It ruined the meal.. and my perception of the restaurant..crying shame...The 32 ounce ribeye was incredible and cooked too perfection.. chimcurru sauce and peppercorn sauce was gorgeous...Service was great too..Can't wait too go back

Great dining experience. The prices are okay and the portions are large. The waitresses was friendly and professional. I would recommend and I would definitely go back to.
