An utter disaster of a place. Longest I’ve ever waited for a cup of tea in my life!Queued for ages, then was told the kitchen was closed even though it was hours before their closing time. Left waiting 45 mins for drinks and a microwaved stale chicken tikka ciabatta and then a further 20 mins for a tea and frappe which I had to go up and remind them I had ordered and paid for only to check again 10 mins later to find them sitting in a corner so I asked for a refund. There only seemed to be 2 people behind the counter doing anything and one person clearing and bringing orders to tables. On more than one occasion people had to go up and collect there orders which were left sitting at the counter.Staff were surly and unapologetic

Unbelievable all day fry! I mean, I couldn’t believe the size of it and it was delicious! Service was extremely friendly too. Plenty of seating and whilst it is a large cafe seating wise, it was very intimate too. Loved the decor. Not a very quiet spot with the ventilation noise in the roof above but that’s seriously picking holes. Will definitely be back as there’s quite a few things on the menu I’d like to try. Brilliant addition to Forestside. Just need you to open in the city centre too!! All day breakfast and tea was £13.Back again and this time the sourdough bread with the fry was like a brick and you had to saw through it. Egg and sausage bagel was delicious. It had cheese and bacon on it too. Fit the fry I had to wait ages for sauce. Otherwise everything else was spot on. Hot chocolate and a rocky road went down well also.A super place.Update - returned on a Friday and the place was bunged. I left and returned at 3.30pm. The kitchen closes relatively early and there was only two pre-prepared savoury food left - a bagel and a panini. There were a couple of tray bakes but it wasn’t a great selection. 3/4 of the tables were covered with dirty dishes, crumbs and mess over the clearer tables, missing menus from the tables, serviettes on the floor around tables along with crumbs and a spoon lying on the floor. Gross. Had to stand for ages for service as the lady on the till was doing coffees on the machine. Really poorly staffed on a Friday and no doubt not much different on a Saturday. What started off as 5 ⭐️ is now down to 3 as it was that bad. The chorizo bagel was meh - bland and lacking punch and hard to hack through

We were here couple of weeks to get some quick lunch. We ordered 2 bagels, a crossiant and chips and we had to wait 45mins.There were people who arrived after us, got served before us and left even before we got served. We had to follow up a couple of times to see what was going on.

Very disappointed with the service and quality of the products. We ordered 4 cold drinks: 2 chocolate milkshakes that were basically chocolate milk with sugar, 1 Mango Soda that was crushed ice, mango syrup and Soda water very tasteless and 1 berry smoothie that lacked in flavour but was the best one out of the 4.It took like 20 minutes to get the drinks sorted. The only good was the 2 chocolate swirls we ordered but they brought them before the drinks and not everything together. And the table beside us was an older couple that ordered 2 coffees and one of the coffees were cold, so they had to s3nd it back and the ordered a scone that was very hard... their order also took ages to arrive. So I'm definitely not going back again.A lot of people complained.I hope the owners do something to sort things out, cause they have a brilliant location.

Visited with a family member and bought a coffee and caramel square. The coffee was nice but the caramel square was tiny and came with very little fresh cream. My sister had ordered hot food and was waiting up to 25 minutes. Don't think I'd be back anytime soon.

Was in for a late breakfast/early lunch. Lovely food, had the fry. The fried tomatoes were awesome, really tasty, everything else was good as well. You go up to the counter to order and pay and they bring the food down. The atmosphere was ok, it was busy so it was quite loud, but that just means people go there as the food is good. It is reasonably priced as well, especially in the current climate.Would definitely recommend it as somewhere to go while shopping in Forestside.

Tried this place for the first time today and was very impressed with both the service and in particular the food. I got the vege roll and my mum got the big breakfast. Both were really tasty and were fresh and tasted like they were made with really good quality ingredients. Staff were very friendly and attentive. My only criticism is that we weren’t offered any sauces to go with the fry and no butter came with the fry for the toast. Apart from these small things we were very impressed and would recommend.

Fabulous coffee and delicious almond croissant. Service has improved greatly all served quickly. Still find the ordering bit confusing - took the number of the table to order and when I returned someone else was sitting at my table - doesn't make much sense. Why can't they give you your table no. After you've placed your order?

Very poorly run place. Came today in the middle of the day and were told we couldn't order off the menu with only limited options on the counter. Most staff appeared to operating on their lowest effort setting. It took over half an hour to receive 2 drinks and a sausage roll from point of ordering. Perhaps there was a problem as there was a table near the front which was stacked high with dirty crockery. Kitchen appears too small to cope with the size of the place. Unlikely to be back.
