Spire Gatwick Park Hospital

This hospital exceeded my expectations!!Brilliant staff and doctors. I was NHS did not get treated any different from paying customers. I wish all hospitals could be like this!! Thanks for looking after me.

This is an amazing hospital filled with amazing people. Every receptionist was friendly and helpful, the doctors and nurses are extremely caring, compassionate and experienced. The facilities have private rooms and ensuites with a personal host and a level of care that the NHS just doesn't offer.

Overall, I find this hospital very poor in terms of the service quality they provide. I have since moved to another private hospital for one of the specialities I was being seen for. Any small task requires huge effort, patient files are lost, I would definitely not recommend.

Absolutely shocking service, nearly impossible to get someone to call you back, been trying to book a scan for over two weeks and told the imaging department turn their phones off 10-1! Tried to make a complaint and the complaints person didn’t call back as advised, left in a position of not knowing what is wrong which is causing distress, will be visiting a different hospital from now on. It may be close to home but not worth the stress of dealing with them.

Around August/September 2021, during the pandemic, their door boy was absolutely graceless. We didn't want to pick masks from their public box that anyone have touched before us. My husband is vulnerable so we were carrying our CERTIFIED masks in our hands but the young gentleman said you must wear the hospital's masks. We refused. He went inside and brought a brand new box. He put his unwashed hands in the box to grab masks for us. He was touching people's Wheelchairs in front of us before doing that. We were horrified but had no other choice but to wear those masks, as he was purposefully being graceless. His behaviour was not acceptable by any standards. I regret we didn't ask the hospital to investigate this at the time. I hope it's not too late for investigating this. Imagine paying so much to get a better treatment and this is what they deliver.

I took my mom for a CT scan when I got there the lady in the reception named Sian was very pleasant and made my mom feel comfortable as she is 83 years old and was panicking about the scan, then there was another lady called Elaine who took us to the scan she made mom smile although she was terrified then we found out that the referral letter sent to the hospital had the wrong year of birth I was upset that I have to come again and my mom will be thinking about the scan continuously Brilliant team Elaine ask Sian to call the hospital and get the correct referral same time as she knew we were struggling to take time off again to bring mom back for the CT scan somehow between Elaine and Sian they managed to get a new referral same time by email and my mom had the CT scan on the same time thank you Elaine and Sian for making my moms visit to spire a remarkable one as my mom suffers from dimencia but she still talk about her experience and how friendly and helpful the two ladies wereThank you spire hospital

Extremely frustrated and disappointed with the service from both the consultant and staff. I had my first appointment virtually, of which the doctor turned up 45 minutes late to and then tried to end the call just after a couple of minutes. When I went back for my follow up appointment I was told by the receptionist that my doctor was running late. After waiting for an hour and having to ask how much longer I would have to wait, I was then told that my doctor was in the middle of operating. 15 minutes later, I was told that my doctor had actually just gone home and wouldn’t be seeing me. Overall, I was there for a hour and a half, resulting in me missing important work commitments. The staff either had no communication between them or were simply lying. I will definitely be going elsewhere for further appointments.

Pretty disappointed with this place. Reception staff are far from welcoming, leaving you standing there without even an acknowledgement while they grump at each other. The Dr I dealt with gave the impression that he didn't really care and just wanted me to leave resulting in me having to follow up with my condition via email. I tried to give it a second chance recently and have been waiting for a call to arrange an appointment for 5 days. Not cheap, not helpful and far from reassuring. forward I'll use somewhere else and suggest that you do to.

Pretty appalling phone service. Almost impossible to speak to NHS booking person. Never returns calls and I don't know if I have on op or not!

Disappointingfirst experience waited 2 hour for my appointment .second experience got billed twice , paid bill for 212.00 to Spire received after appointment then received a second bill over a year later from medisev 200.00 more .they said its an admiration error ! Poor show if I was to attend this hospital ever again I would ask for a quote first.surly the consultant should hire the room and bill me once.
