We had Russell at Auto Interiors retrim our Mk1 Golf GTI seats, which cost over £1500. This took twice as long to carry out as originally quoted, but this wasn’t the issue. When we got the seats back they were awful. The stripes on the L/H side of the rear seat don’t line up by miles (as photo), the inner stripes are uneven widths, stitching isn’t straight (as photo), material on rear seat base not fixed, hog rings showing and the front headrests are distorted/mis-shaped (as photo). We kindly requested a part refund to help correct these issues but Russell not interested. My son (who’s car it is) is distraught with the quality and is now going to have to pay again to have another ‘proper’ trimmer re-do the seats.
