Everything is great and amazing, you get to know the staff and have casual conversations. The food is cheap and for its price very good. The only downside is that is can be very full and hard to find a place

Food and drinks were great and the service we received from the member of staff who served us was amazing! He was very friendly, had great customer service skills, treated every customer with the same courteous and friendly manner and couldn't do enough for us and the other customers nearby.

Popped in with my friend and my 2 teenagers, ordered drinks and did state we would be eating, 4 soft drinks cost just over £7 but looking at the menu most meals came with a drink (soft included alcohol small extra charge) I wish the guy at the till had said as by end of the meal we were fit to burst on fizzy pop lol, the food itself was really nice, good size portion freshly cooked and to a really good standard, couldn't believe it came to just over £24 for 4 of us!! Place was clean, service was good will defo go back

Went in on a quiet Tuesday night, staff seemed to be having their monthly drinks so the staff behind the bar were more bothered about serving them over actual customers. Asked the barman Wilson for the gourmet 8oz Sirlon and even pointed at it on the menu for him yet he still managed to get the order wrong it came out as a classic instead and when questioned he didn’t seem bothered about messing the order up and wasn’t willing to help. When serving me he was leant on the till as if he was talking to one of his friends/ couldn’t be bothered to be there. Food came and gammon was still raw and the eggs tasted and smelt off.

Recently,my family and I have been to this location and had something to eat.The food would have been Ok, but it was cold.I had ordered poached egg( which was cold), muffin with mashed avocado, which was good and toasted halloumi cheese, which was burned( crispy). I understand when staff are busy ,but quality does matter!!!Overall was Ok.

The worst Wetherspoons we have been to. Prices are cheap, but that’s reflected in the quality of food.Live not far away and won’t be back. The Hotel virtually next door, is far nicer. Also, just read about how the Manager treated a customer suffering from Dementia. Shame on you.

Absolutely banging food. Never fails to impress. Short waiting time and various obvious for all age ranges. Extremely good value for money while being inexpensive. Wonderful cheery atmosphere. Outdoor seating available and wonderful staff.

The best Wetherspoons we've been to. We had the managers special, and although it was fairly basic, it was just enough for lunchtime, and it was delicious. We had steak and chips, and the steak was cooked perfectly. My son, who's quite a fussy eater, had the fried chicken, and he wants to go back again! This hardly ever happens. The atmosphere in the pub was lovely, very friendly and relaxed. It was clean and the staff were lovely too. The service was excellent. We'll definitely be back.

What a terrible experience. Visited the pub last night with a dear friend struggling with dementia. After a couple of drinks the manager instructed the barmaid not to serve my friend believing he was drunk. No words can describe how that left me feeling after my friend wanted specifically to go in there having memories from before he got this terrible dilapidating disease. Thank you dearly to the barmaid who was so clearly embarrassed and a sincere thank you to the young lady who helped me to the taxi rank. Final thank you to the taxi driver who drove us home safely. Nothing to say to the manager other than you need to be educated on Dementia and Alzimers these conditions are nothing at all like “drunk”
