We had a lovely time having a mini spa day and afternoon tea. The mini treatments were amazing and incredibly relaxing. The Laura Ashley room was beautiful, food delish and Sally is so welcoming and lovely. Will be back!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kenwood Hall, and I felt compelled to write a review that highlights the extraordinary service provided by their employees.The hotel itself was beautiful and relaxing, situated in a quieter part of Sheffield.I am delighted to praise an employee, in particular, Gabriel, who consistently exhibited commendable qualities. We were immediately greeted with a warm and welcoming demeanour, immediately putting us at ease. What truly stood out, however, was his attentiveness to our needs and his genuine commitment to ensuring our comfort during our stay.Truly went above and beyond for us, just to give us exceptional service. Thank you!

The room was big and spacious, the bed was comfy with extra pillows in the wardrobe. Their was a fan in the wardrobe which we did use as the room was so warm. Very clean and tidy. Stopped as part of a wedding party and someone was at reception when we turned up at 11.30pm we were made to feel very welcomed.Breakfast was very nice fresh food and a verity to choose from including tea, coffee and juice.

Upon arriving, reception had 2 bookings, and appeared confused, didnt seem to know how long we were staying, or whether we'd payed or not. Directions to the room were misleading. The carpets are extremely worn with bleach marks and tears. Room nice and spacious. Had a dinner booked, upon arrival to the dining room, waited at least 15min to get seated, reception in dining room very messy, only 1 member of staff running around, seating guests, taking orders, serving food & drinks and clearing away. Finally after 25min we got our order taken, another 30min for food to arrive and it was cold, 1/2rack of ribs came from a piglet (4 bones) stone cold chips, and fish & chips not best quality and cold. Plates were taken away after another 20min or so, tables around were left with left over food and drinks for a long time. Hot pudding was warmasked for it to be warmed up and it took another 30min, got offered 1 complimentary drink, whilst we waited. No courteous remarks whilst eating or leaving the restaurant. The pool area is dirty, with chewing gum stuck to tiles and seats. The spa staff however were much more polite and courteous, made to feel more welcome, and were extremely apologetic for the bad experience we had the night before

Our 4th Stay at the hotel. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. The bathrooms are a little tired, and could do with an update.We were warned that a party was taking place below our rooms, and that there would be music played until 11.30pm, but we were not disturbed at all.

Did a workshop in the hotel. Lovely food and drink throughout the event. Great setting and gardens. Think the place generally has seen better days but not too bad!

We were getting married and opted to stay at Kenwood Hall as it was located nearby and we liked the style of the rooms and reviews. The rooms were spacious and included a large en suite and comfy beds. There was ample space in the wardrobe to hang our suits and clothes with hangers included. The breakfast served in the morning was a buffet-style with plenty to choose from and we fully enjoyed the breakfast on each morning. Checking in and out was easy and the staff were really friendly and explained everything to us really well.The only downside I had was the car park, especially at night. I was able to park no problem and there was plenty of room and spaces when we arrived. However, the car park was not lit at night and I had to go to my car just after midnight and I couldn’t see where I was walking. I had to use my phone torch to guide me but that was still a struggle. To make matters worse my friend’s car was stolen from the car park between 9-10pm without keys. The car was driven off through the main entrance which had gates but were always open. I for one would have felt much safer with floodlights in the car park especially when I had to walk to my car just after midnight and also this might have prevented my friend’s car from being stolen. Perhaps some security guards/patrols and closing the gates past a certain time would be more beneficial as the car park cannot be seen from the Main Street so someone must’ve ventured in to see the car there. Maybe the room card could act as entry to the hotel if it’s late or a buzzer system to allow people in.All in all, the rooms were nice, clean and spacious and provided everything we could ask for. The stay was tarnished by the unfortunate news of my friend’s car being stolen.

Stayed for two nights (Nov 2023), arriving late on Friday evening: no hot water, nor first thing on Sat, although it was working again late morning (after a Spa visit); but again not working Sat evening or Sunday morning (forced to use the spa for a shower)The room was good, newly decorated and the bathroom would have been great with hot water!The corridors and other common areas were shabby, with damaged walls and ceilings, scuffs, and worn/frayed carpets; showers in spa damaged; precarious stairlift setup in spa as original lift looks to have been condemned; poorly fitting door on steam room = limited heat retention: the hotel is in need of significant refurbishment.Was offered a 20% refund on departure - along with many others, or contact from the General Manager -- requested contact, leaving contact details: have heard nothing in over a week now. Extremely poor service.

Great quite hotel to stay. There is a spa and looks nice. Big garden is just outside the french sash form the room. It is wonderful to grab a chair to sit in french sash. Relax and comfortable. The Tea - restaurant in the hotel, providing the afternoon tea and dinner. Strong recommend to make the reservation for dinner in advance. It was full when we were there at 6:30pm (weekday).
