Lemon Crispy Chicken
I ordered some food a few days ago. I was satisfied with the food, as it was hot and fresh. I wasn’t very happy with the amount of sauce in the pots, as it was less than half full. I think they need to sort this issue out soon as they give fewer sauces when people buy food, which I understand, but there has to be enough sauce in the pots. Some people hate when there is not enough sauce, as it's not enjoyable when the sauce runs out first.

The fried chicken pieces are nice but do NOT get the wings unless you want them burnt. I’ve ordered from there twice and each time the wings were burnt. I assumed it was a one off but it clearly isn’t.

Lemon Crispy Chicken
I had heard that this had won awards so I went along to check it out.Now I know why it is called lemon crispy chicken because there is a hint of lemon in it. It's the nicest chicken shop chicken I've tasted and it is crispy. It also tasted fresh. I will be back. even their sauces are delicious. It is good value for money.

This is the crowd that operated (staffed) the first lemon place in Luton. I’ve been going to them for 15 years now and can tell you they always look after you. The team branched out their own place 6 years ago (as of 2023) and have kept the standards high. The chips and strips is just the best. The chicken is really good. Burgers. Kebab rolls (with naan, not a tortilla). All you’d expect.Chips and strips is: a layer of fries. Next comes a layer of lemon chicken - deboned and shredded on the hot plate. Then a layer of chilli sauce (and/or mayo of you want). Then a layer of crisp salad. It’s all they’re stacked in a box and ready to devour. This is the Spécialité de la maison and highly recommended. 4 piece (XXL).It’s a good solid place. Consistent in its high quality - and a good go-to for fast food. The chicken is of a better quality than you find. Meaty. Fresh. Not greasy or slimy like so many other local places. The staff are proper friendly and there’s no attitude like other high profile places in Stoplsey or the big American brand rubbish that’s small, salty and filthy.Well worth the 5 stars. And the 5 hygiene rating they maintain year on year.If it’s chicken and chips in Luton (and there’s no shortage of places) - this is the champion.The reviews are either max or minimum. For me, the poor reviews are trolls from the competition.

I do not understand how this place won a award! Seriously it's the worst takeaway I have had in Luton so far, the wings were soooooo crispy close to being burnt. The mix kebab was dry, old taste definitely not fresh. The lemon fish had a horrible smell, soggy chips, I will NEVER order food from here again.

Hi I just received my chicken tikka roll and the food was amazing but that wasn't large at all for this price I expect much more the portion was way to small for large.
