Culverhill Launderette

Quite small but good range machine sizes that all wash well.Friendly staff team.They offer a service wash which looks good value.

Not very nice service. Rather dodgy. Moves your laundry without permission and when I was their she said that she had to borrow four pounds because our laundry got caught in something a likely story and also four pounds down the drain. Just to wash a few clothes and tumble dry them it cost over 25 pounds. Overall the place is a rip off the service is dodgy do not go here unless you want to waste money.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Only used dryer but clothes folded and waiting for me on return. Would highly recommend. Thank you to the young lady working today.

If you want great friendly service along with clean washing then this is the Laundrette to use. I am not a regular by any means but the lady there always remembers me.

Rip-off. I should have paid more attention to a previous reviewer!Very chaotic, no room to sit and wait while attending to your laundry. They want you to pay extra for a service wash.The only three large washing machines were full of their service washes. I had to split the load into smaller machines. I asked if the smaller machines were all £3 and was told yes, but use the newer ones as they spin better. After putting in my three loads, I get out my change only to find the newer machines are actually £4 each NOT £3. (There is a reason the machines don't have a price on them!).Whilst doing my laundry, I witnessed several occasions of service washes getting mixed, or losing an item. I found someone else's sock had been left behind in a drier I was using.I also witnessed someone collecting their service wash and having to pay £1 each for the IKEA bags which the launderette had supplied because it was easier for them to put clean laundry away in them rather than use the black bin bags which the customer had supplied.Just one lady who works there is very nice & I hope she gets a nicer job!

These girls are amazing. They've been doing my washing for 6 months every week. Great friendly service. Good prices and open on a Sunday.

I use that place for number of years now, especially for duvets and pillows. The staff are always welcoming, helpful. They were informative under covid rules/lockdown. I love that place as it brings community together with frequently local meeting/chat. Thumbs up

My family have been using this Laundrette service for over 20 years never had a problem. I have now moved A short distance out of frome and still travel back to use this Laundrette. Helpful friendly staff and a good price

I've used Culverhill launderette for a number of years now and have never been disappointed. I like to try and wash the duvets every year, but they don't fit into the machine at home. Culverhill have excellent machines and are reasonably priced. I can wash a Superking duvet for £5.50 if I bring my own washing powder. The ladies that run the place are always very friendly and helpful. We are lucky to have such a good facility like this in Frome.
