Hastings Old Town Surgery

Rubbish, they send you to various different surgeries . It's absolutely impossible to see Dr. Parker. It seems you don't have an actual Dr anymore. In fact, you don't actually have a real surgery anymore. And to top it off, you get a confirmation text for an appointment, then they change the time and the surgery the night before, and you go to the wrong time and surgery. It's the beginning of the end. Hastings roebuck surgery was the best now. Hastings old town is the worst ever !!!! Good riddance!!

Awful telephone service. Have never rang at 8am and been less than number 23 in the queue. Just rang now and am number 40. The average wait time is over an hour- it’s not reasonable to expect patients to wait between an hour and 2 to make an appointment. Employ more receptionists

Had an appointment 9.50 in the Old Town. Receptionist said 'no, that was 9.20 at Churchwood, and a telephone appointment'. When I said I'd written it down and wouldn't get it so wrong, her reply was @I don't care what you've got written down, I know what it says on my screen'. She presumably won best receptionist of the year. Haven't visited the GP for 13 years, and probably won't bother with this surgery again.

Hopeless practice. My 25 year old daughter has brain cancer and was feeling unwell today. We called the surgery and we were put on a triage list! Eventually contacted 6 hours later for an appointment 2 days later! Don't bother with them they are hopeless! It's clearly run as a business and can't offer the care that's needed! Hopeless

I went to the surgery today to ask for help with my mum's pain medications (she’s had a recent knee replacement)The receptionist (I think her name was Emma) was accommodating and empathetic. She quickly communicated with the triage doctor to ask him to prescribe urgent medications. Within 10 minutes, the prescription had been sent to my mum's nominated pharmacy.Great service, thank you Emma for being so helpful!

Great service from the receptionist and the doctor as well i received today. I had an appoiment at 14:50. Please keep up the good work. (BE)

I have been with this surgery for many years and cannot thank them enough for everything they have done and are doing for me ! The reception team are absolutely lovely and will go above and beyond to assist with your needs! I suffered a mental health crisis at the start of the year and well there mental health nurse was absolutely amazing! I felt listened to and well supported and I finally had a plan to go forward. I cannot begin to thank the staff at the surgery for there continued support and providing genuine care because I really don’t know where I would be if I hadn’t made that phone call to reception that day. Never feel alone because there is always someone at this surgery who will take the time to listen to you.

They don’t want to see you ! The triage to just txt you saying collect antibiotics at the pharmacy even though they haven’t triaged you ! Really really really bad service. Felt completely let down ! Oh and this was after spending 2.5 hours on the phone !

No wonder people are on hold for hours, 3 receptionist at the back are just having a casual chat between themselves while all the phones are ringing non stop
