Bloor Homes - Standish Grange

**AVOID*We purchased our house on Standish Grange just over one year ago, I cannot even remember the amount of times tradesmen have been round for remedial work and it is still ongoing.We signed our satisfaction report with promise from the site manager that we would have a couple of jobs outstanding completed, this has never happened and is just adding to the large list of faults with the house that have since occurred.I would never buy a home from Bloor again, poor quality, poor customer service, be warned.

Received a telephone call from salesman Ben on Friday. He informed us that there are 3 bedroom propertys which are available to move into October / November 2021. We therefore arranged and travelled an hour to and from the appointment at the Standish decelopment this afternoon, only to be told upon arrival all 3 bedroom property's have sold out and the next will not be available until May 2022. When we asked as to why we were not made aware of this as this has now been a wasted journey, he became really rude / defensive, made no apology, and laughed. After this encounter of poor customer service, we will no longer be searching for our house with Bloor Homes.

We loved the Standish Grange development and how welcoming the estate is; a welcome only accentuated by meeting Jonathan in the sales office.Upon arriving at the sales office for the first time, we knew we wanted to buy a four bedroom property, but aside from that weren’t fully aware of our options. One of the first things we noticed upon meeting was that Jonathan’s knowledge of the housing market and industry as a whole is exemplary. He offered impartial, practical advice that was clearly well informed by years of experience.Jonathan not only guided us through the choices of houses available to us, he was able to provide a personal and empathetic touch to his advice. He was able to advise us on every detail; right down to dining room table options (!) and ultimately the best house to meet the needs of our family. He was always available in person, on the phone and in email when we had questions (and we’ve had a few!)He wasn’t even deterred at showing us around a beautiful new home with an overly energetic three year old in tow (who is quite in awe at the prospect of having her own bathroom actually in her bedroom) and has been more than accommodating at allowing family members to view the property.We’ve really felt that Jonathan has gone above and beyond in securing us the best deal on the best house we could have hoped for on Standish Grange. We’re so excited as a family for our next adventure in our new home and don’t believe we’d be at this point had it not been for the dedication and diligence offered by Jonathan - an exemplary sales representative for Bloor Homes.

Nice development but I found the the salesman very rude when approached for help.
