Lively pub with reasonable Fish&chips.Unfortunately, they served me a flat pint of Amstel. When I asked for another, they told me that was 'just how it is'.I had 2 pints. Second one was flat.Surprisingly bad-service from a Greene King pub.

Decent pub to watch the football. However kitchen is always closed. Last four times I’ve been there to watch the football I have not been able to order food. If you want to have pub dinner whilst watching the football would recommend going to the Roebuck which is <2 minute walk away

Popped in for a quick drink. It was nice and warm here. Lots of tables but need to watch out as they can get booked out due to football. The fruit tea and capachino were nice. They had good decoration for St Patrick's day. Toilets were clean and well stocked. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Would recommend a visit.

Lovely Pub where we was made to feel welcome. No stars for the food because we didn't eat on this first visit but the menu looked good. Next time food. Oh and they have Aspels Cider on Tap, another bonus.

Ordered 2xhalfs of Aspalls and was given two pints!...12quid!..I can't drink that much liquid for fear of the waterworks and still had to get home. My partner payed as he didn't want a fuss....just listen to what a customer says...pay attention!... Other than that, lovely old pub lovely decor and lovely bar with a good atmosphere and a garden at the back.

Wonderful pub with fantastic staff, Matt and Taylor are super friendly and efficient, and so fast at serving whenever there's a crowd I never have long to wait. There is also an extremely wonderful lady with glasses who is so friendly and often makes sure that everyone is satisfied while working so hard. Three other young members of staff are fantastic at their job, I am always served efficiently with a smile whoever I'm served by.The pub is big with a garden and the clientèle and atmosphere always cheers me up whatever time of day I chose to go in.

Went for an evening meal today.60% of what we wanted was unavailable.Eventually ordered pricier dishes than we wanted. Over cooked & over priced food.Pub customers very loud and badly behaved. Women opposite us with 10yo son shouting across random phrases in mock Indian accent, trying their best to create a scene. We felt very uncomfortable and decided to rush our meal and vow never to set foot in there again. We had high hoped but this place is a huge disappointment.

My sister and I had a really uncomfortable experience with a man during our visit. He was being very unpleasant and would not leave us alone, clearly beyond drunk. The bar staff handled the situation perfectly!! After we alerted them, they watched him like a hawk. They even let us stay a couple of minutes after closing so we could feel comfortable walking home. This is a situation that could have left the both of us shaking on our way home. But good attentive bar staff completely turned it around, and we had a great night!! Thank you so much for the wonderful service, I'll be back next time I'm in town <3
