Lavenham Falconry

Had the best full day experience! The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the birds. Birds were well looked after. So many different types were used during the experience day. onsite parking and toilet. Would love to go again one day, highly recommended!

I was given a half day falconry experience for my birthday by my family. I can not recommend Lavenham Falconry highly enough. The staff were fun, warm and welcoming from the very first minute we arrived until the minute we left. The information and clear and concise advice throughout the experience kept me informed and able to safely handle the birds with confidence. The birds were both beautiful and amazing and so well looked after and loved by the handlers. I thoroughly enjoyed every second of my experience.Such and amazing present and a day I won't ever forget.Thank you so much!!!!!

Had a brilliant morning meeting the owls as well as some surprise bonus birds! The handlers are so enthusiastic about the birds in their care and it is wonderful to see them up close. An absolutely unique peek at owls, ravens, hawks and more. Very good value for money, would recommend highly.

Went on the 2hr Falcon walk. Really enjoyed it. Absolutely fantastic birds. The guy who walked round with us was very knowledgeable. We talked about all animals and really knew his stuff. Looking forward to going back and trying some if the other experiences they do

My daughter and I had a wonderful Raven Experience with Luna, Grippe and baby Rav. Steve taught us so much about our favourite birds and was very enthusiastic and approachable. Arthur took some wonderful photos- looking forward to the copies! It was bitterly cold but we never stopped grinning ear to eat. I would totally recommend this experience and we can't wait to go back!

What an incredible place. We enjoyed our 2nd visit today. The Raven experience.It was really interesting learning about the birds and watching them do what comes naturally to them. So much better than expecting the birds to perform like circus animals. Lovely to observe their behaviour and learn why they do what they do.Visiting the centre and meeting the birds and the humans who care for them is a real treat.Absolutely 100% recommend the experiences if you'd like to learn about these majestic birds.Can't wait to go back and enjoy a Hawk walk.

We had a fantastic time with Steve on the half day falconry experience. Amazing to be able to fly such beautiful birds of prey & be up close to them (Onyx the vulture is such a lovely character & took a liking to my hair & hopped on to my shoulder). Highly recommended if you would like to know more about falconry & Steve keeps the group small so you get lots of time to hold the birds & learn more about them. 5 stars! We will definitely be back.

What an amazing experience! My husband and I LOVED this outing so much! The birds were beautiful and the handler was very well-informed. We greatly enjoyed being so close to and learning about these beautiful creatures. I highly recommend this activity. Would also make a wonderful gift!

Mind blowing….what an amazing experience with these beautiful birds. I am still smiling, many days on. Andy our guide was such a friendly warm guy with incredible knowledge and so much information on the birds, their names, breed, habitats etc. It gave the experience such a personal feeling and gave me a real connection with the birds. My jaw is still sore from the all the grinning I did. I was totally smitten by all the birds but Treacle and Casper did capture my heart. I would totally recommend this experience, you see what a strong relationship the handlers have with the birds and the joy, fun and mischievous nature of these still wild but cared for and loved birds. We would love to return for the Hawk walk once bird flu restrictions are lifted. Thanks Andy for making it truly magic.

We were visiting Suffolk for the weekend and came across Lavenham Falconry and were able to book a Junior Falconry Experience for our 7 year old daughter online at very short notice.What an amazing place this is. Tim was brilliant, he was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic with all the questions being asked. It was nice and relaxed and not at all rushed. Our daughter loved it so much, being up close and personal with a barn owl, American Kestral and a Harris's Hawk and watching them all fly around her and landing on her glove. All the birds were in great condition and really well looked after. Steve the owner, is really friendly and welcoming. We were also lucky enough to meet Monty a big tortoise. Highly recommend Lavenham Falconry and will definitely be back again.
