I'm trying to contact this shop for 2 weeks , made 2 bookings online , left a voice message but no one seems to care !! I didn't sold the items as i wanted to give for charity. Then you can't complain or request for donations when your staff are clearly not doing the job they should be doing . I bet if it was to collect cash you would run to collect it ! I will never call again or donate to British heart foundation , as you clearly do not need donations !!

Went in today to buy a wardrobe and mattress and can honestly say I have never ever experienced such rude behaviour in my life ,there was a staff lady possibly late 30s black British with yellow streak in her hair ,she was next to me I asked her for the price of a mattress as it didn’t actually have the usual price tag on a particular one ,she screamed at me “you can read the prices can’t you”Literally shouted across the store and then walked off ,when I eventually found the price tag which had been moved onto a table by accident I gave it to her she threw it at the till and told me the lady will come soon and walked off without even a glance at me ,I spoke very softly and kind to her and she reacted in that manner so I cannot imagine how she would react with a more difficult customer just awful I was thinking about it for days after I went home ,on the other hand the English lady behind the till what a beautiful service she gives she made the awful experience that bit better very lovely lady and not the first time she has given amazing service as been here a few times she needs rewarding.

I am a regular customer at the British Heart Foundation, Old Kent rd, London. They often have some very nice/unusual furniture etc(even though sometimes it can be a bit pricey) but the quality is usually quite good. The staff(mainly volunteer's) are very helpful and friendly.I've had a good experience with the delivery guys with them delivering on the 3rd floor flat(no lift) and friendly/polite as well, plus you can get a delivery very quick also.My only gripe is that when you see something you really like and want to buy it there and then, you'll see a notice saying 'bid for me on ebay' it's frustrating at that point especially if you want to buy the item there and then and don't have the time to bid on ebay.Overall would recommend.

business by ill-educated gansters. I saw an electric sofa and I wanted to buy it. The manager told me that it has to pass an electrical inspection. not giving the option of giving a deposit or reservation. surely they would keep it for a friend or they would keep it for themselves. I'd rather buy from a store than buy from this mafia organization that claims to help people, but I think they don't help at all. Many of their items are old and expensive haha

I've bought and donated here. This is the best place for furniture. High quality stuff for good prices and all for charity. Wish there were more around! In terms of donating, make sure the furniture is pulled apart and can go through the door. The movers make minimal effort and do not even bring an Alan key. They seem to refuse things that don't fit in the elevator. They will however take useful things as long as you keep it efficient for them. I found it worthwhile to donate. They also texted me 30 min before arrival which was great. Dates are always pretty far in the future (around 2 weeks) because they cover different areas on different days. For example, they might only come to your area on a Wednesday.I'm glad I donated!

I went yesterday and bought a bed and I was treated very well. When I come today to change and get a bigger bed, the lady that is working today been so rude ! And arguing with me. Look like I can ask any question . I just wish her a wonderful day and God bless her . Because look like she’s in a bad day

Simply awful. I attempted to donate a dining table. Waited all day at home. Received a call saying they were an hour aware and no one came. No answer via phone or email since. Highly unprofessional. Avoid.

Made 2 bookings and on both occasions no one turned up. On the second occasion I called up and they told me that I had 'declined' the service but this was not accurate. I had had a discussion with the call handler the week before who had poor customer service skills and told me that they could not help me take anything down stairs as it may injure their removal workers, I told them I would find someone to help me manage with the items and agreed the pick up time but they just cancelled it.Disappointing service....now considering a bulky rubbish removal which is a shame as these are quality items that could do with being rehoused.AVOID.

Collection I ordered multiple items to be collected. They came and didn't want to take anything. When everything works. They dragged the washing machine down the stairs and said they can't take it. Leaves me in a terrible position. Never again
