Donna Green Photography

Donna took photographs for me at an event I was running recently. I don't like getting my photograph taken at all but Donna totally put me at ease. I barely even noticed when Donna was taking the photographs. For anyone looking to get brand or headshot photos taken I'd highly recommend Donna. You won't be disappointed. She's a really lovely person and very easy to work with.

To say Donna was amazing would be an understatement. The whole process was a really enjoyable journey from start to finish!We started off with a quick call to make sure we were a good fit for each other, which is obviously so important. I truly believe if Donna wasn't a good photographer for what I needed she would have said and recommended me to someone else. Fortunately she was a brilliant fit and she was genuinely excited by my business which was lovely.She then sent me a brand workbook which went into my brand extensively (it asked about values, themes, setting, target audience and much more). This not only helped Donna get to know my business better but it actually really helped me clarify a lot of things within my business - honestly I think she could sell this book by itself and make a fortune that's how good I think it is!We then had another call where we went through my brand book and decided on a location and rough clothing ideas (she suggested I took along 3 outfits - I eventually took 5 and then she helped me pick them on the day)On the evening before and morning of the shoot Donna stayed in contact to confirm location and time as well as giving me a lot of assistance with last minute questions I had.The shoot was really amazing. I settled into it really quickly, likely due to Donna's mannerism and the way she put me at ease very quickly. The couple of hours flew by and the whole experience was very much a collaboration where Donna wanted to make sure I was getting shots that were genuine to me and my brand.Afterwards Donna edited the photos over a couple of weeks then sent me an email with a link to my photos. In this album there were 90 INCREDIBLE photos! They were all so on-brand it was incredible and I loved every single one! (No exaggeration!)I've already contacted Donna about booking another shoot in 6 months for some winter photos! She really is brilliant from start to finish!(I've popped a couple of my photos below which are just amazing)

Wow-what can I say apart from I'm delighted with the images I received from Donna after my Brand Photography session. She has given me so many brilliant photos that I can now use across my social media and website and has truly given me just what I needed and asked for. I still can't get over how much light she has managed to capture from my home!Before Donna takes any photos, she takes the time to get to know you and your business through her extensive workbook. I feel this helps not only her but also helps give you better clarity on what your business is all about. A worthwhile exercise itself, whatever stage you are at in your business.If you are in any doubt about getting photos done, then I can honestly say I found the whole experience enjoyable. Donna puts you at ease during the photoshoot and gives good guidance. Although some poses may have felt a bit unnatural, I'd say the results speak for themselves and are a worthwhile investment.

Donna worked absolute magic with her camera when she took our family out to be photographed. I wasn't sure what to expect but loved the idea of having outdoor natural pictures, since we love being outside walking and playing as a family. I'm quite shy about getting my picture taken but Donna put us all at ease very quickly and was fab with the kids, allowing them to be their natural selves.The end result was amazing, we all love our photos! Donna is so sharp at working on the strategy for brand photography, rather than just aiming for the pretty pictures (which you'll get too obviously!). She's got great knowledge of business messaging, and is able to translate that into expert visuals that sell services, whether it's on a home page or sales page. I would recommend Donna 100% for brand photography and headshots, because she'll do the job professionally and strategically for you.UPDATE - Donna took my business headshots on a cold February day in Edinburgh. I can honestly say that I had so much fun on this photoshoot. Donna knows precisely what she's looking for. She was able to put me at ease effortlessly. And having seen the images she captured on the back of her camera as she worked, I knew before I got the finished images that I would be very happy to use them on my website, profile and anywhere else where they're needed. Donna was a gem to find! I had several communications with her in advance of my session with her and she was kind, answered all of my questions, and helped me get ready. She even had some suggestions on what we might do if the weather turned bad. On the day we met, Donna had so many fantastic ideas of what we could do, how we could pose, and where we should be to get the best shots. She's quite talented and I am so lucky to have found her. After the pictures were all taken, she stayed in touch and delivered the most stunning pictures. She made my day and I'm thrilled she was there to capture everything. I highly recommend Donna for any pictures you need!!

The service i recieved from Donna was second to none. her communication was first class and is very easy to contact and although she was going off on holiday for a few days assisted me the same day before she left. She is also very approachable and personable. This level of attention and service is quite rare nowadays as Donna goes beyond the call of duty so to speak. The quality of the photos she produced were of a very high standard and I would always recommend Donna to all my family and friends and clients of mine .
