Sainsbury's Petrol Station

Prepare yourself for an experience second to none!Not only do they have petrol here, but they also have fire breathers, tiny horses, a wishing well and a helipad.I camped up for a week in a hedge just to inhale the heady odours that wafted by.

As supermarket petrol stations go this one's pretty much what you'd expect.The pumps have card machines so gives you the choice of paying at the pump or going to the counter.There's about 3 pumps to each lane and around 4-6 lanes I think.It does have a drive through car wash, you have to pay for a ticket/number at the counter first then drive over, key the number and follow instructions.Okay for a basic wash and wax.

Spacious filling bays. Prices are cheaper than most petrol stations in Oxford.

This can be very busy at peak times so best to avoid until later in the evening. Self service pumps which makes life a bit easier for a lot of people. All pumps recently updated, so they are all alot quicker now with processing payments, filling up the car etc. Just don't go to the pumps on the far right hand side if you don't want to get stuck behind other people.

Best prices. Pay at the pump option.

Nothing personal,but the service is unacceptable. A old lady treated me like I m Nothing .I ask for a electric cigarette and I specified top shelf midlee ...she got angry and pointed to all shelfs but not top midlee...I let all that happen with calm....next time I will ask for the manager.

One of the cheapest places to get fuel in the country! Diesel is still a few pence lower than petrol. They have the option to pay at the pump or in the kiosk. In the kiosk you will find all the usual amenities. Friendly staff too. A pleasure, thank you

(If this could be a 10/5 star… it would be)I went here tonight to get fuel and some emergency supplies that I’d forgotten after leaving my house that is nearly 200 miles away and was blown away by the level of customer service I received. Fahim went above and beyond any job role to be as helpful as possible! He was working with Alex who was also really helpful. Outstanding in every way, with the fuel at a very reasonable and affordable price. After driving for over 7 years… this is HANDS DOWN, the best fuel station I have ever been to, and in my top 3 of best service I have ever revived in my life. Thank you guys.

At least they finally after all these years have pay at pump - only took a car reversing into one to get them updated. The air pump although free is frequently badly calibrated and won't pump your tyres enough.Edit: air no longer free.During fuel shortages to enter you now have to queue half way around the supermarket car park rather than turning straight in.
