Casa De Tapas
I have been here before 9-12 months ago. It’s was full of customers lively food was decent. Came again last week and it’s was so disappointing. Quiet no one else in the restaurant but us after, there was 2 other tables finishing, it was 7.30pm. I purchased the groupon voucher cost me £15 for £40 worth of food. We managed to get on the voucher garlic bread with cheese, calamari and two pasta dishes. The dishes were sloppy and small the salmon pasta had no salmon and Caesar salad was alot less then before. Only alright dish was spaghetti Bolognese. We were charged extra £21 for drinks and the Caesar salad as the £40 value of the voucher did not cover that. So I saved about £24 buying the groupon voucher otherwise paying £60 to eat there certainly wouldn’t have been worth it.

So, not the restaurant it was previously (la Salsa), nor the service and food. Half the place looks like a store room, another quarter a take-away and the rest is a simple restaurant. Service was a plastic menu and an offer of the starter and pizza/pasta. No Tapas. Choice was limited. Starter was okay, mains was lacking in quantity, but tasted fine. Service was missing, as the takeaway business seems to be busy. Nothing wrong just not as expected for a restaurant.

Beautiful Family run restaurantSuch an authentic gemVisited this evening, myself, partner and our 5 year old.We received a warm greeting from the owner, we already knew we wanted tapas, he explained the dishes, asked our favourite garlic bread and this was brought out promptly with our drinks order whilst we chose our tapas dishes. The tapas dishes were all cooked by the owner himself. All the tapas was absolutely delicious, real authentic dishes, cooked to perfection. So much food for the price too, we ended up bringing 4/5 dishes home as we couldn't eat anymore but didn't want to leave it as it was all so good!!!The only shame (for the business) was how quite it was.. we arrived at around 4:45pm and left around 6:10pm - we was the only customers the whole time we was there. They advised they are busier at the weekends but could definitely use more custom during the week. This is an authentic restaurant run by a beautiful Family and deserves as much support as it can get! The owner and his wife were a pleasure to get to know and speak to this evening and we will most definitely be returning and recommending to all our friends!

The tapas comes in good size dishes and there is plenty of variety, good selection of vegetarian tapas.Everything we had, 10 dishes all different between two of us were delicious, in fact everything I had was an absolute gift as far as I’m concerned, it was beautiful. We were given a free garlic bread, we chose cheesy and that was delicious too. Finished with profiteroles which were also delicious. Really nice red wine too. The staff were really warm, smiley, helpful and friendly. Highly recommend it and we are going back soon.

Horrible experience!! Been to this restaurant many times under the previous owner and always came away raving about the food. Not anymore, we were there over an hour and they only brought out 6 tapas out of 20. The ones we did get were inedible. The waitress was very rude when we complained and acted as if it was our fault. I then said I wouldn't be paying the full price due to the poor quality of the food and service. The waitress then proceeded to take the lasagne away from me when it looks the best cooked dish out of the whole bunch.People be warned.

Still in the restaurant as I write this. Absolutely wonderful food. Very tasty, good portions, very authentic cuisine. Delicious. Both myself and my nephew enjoyed it. Will 1000000% visit again and I highly recommend anyone reading this to try it.

DO NOT BOOK HERE! We had been given a Groupon Voucher for our 25th wedding anniversary. We booked a table for 2 for tonight. Drove 40mins to get there to find it SHUT!! NOBODY ANSWERING PHONE. I have just looked at previous reviews and this has happened before! They obviously do not care about their customers and it makes me wonder if they apply the same disregard for the quality of their food and service. Judging by earlier reviews that seems to be the case. AVOID.
