Linnell Brothers Ltd.

Sadly their cutting Mill is closed for lunch between 12.35(!) and 1.35. This isn't mentioned on their website and wasn't mentioned when I called the day before asking about coming to get timber cut... Needless to say I arrived at 12.40 and enjoyed a long wait in their car park! It's the little details...

From start to finish, a great service. Well informed on products, great service in the shop and the timber yard, the delivery was prompt and efficient. The driver couldn't have been more helpful.

Extremely rude man on the phone, wanted to support local businesses. Real shame. I'd advise taking business elsewhere.Delivery man on previous deliveries was stubborn and unhelpful also.

Good if you go into the shop, however called twice to get a price on a decent amount of fencing was told by first guy he would call back and didn't. Second guy said he'd call back, he did but said it was taking a bit longer than he promised, said he'd call back again and didn't. Wasting people's time is bad service.

My first visit to Linnell Brothers today. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful, especially the guy on the fork lift truck. I will definitely be going back

I was under the impression that I had a fully established trade account with them so I went along and ordered the fence panels and gate posts etc but we needed for a major job that we had however later on that evening I noticed the address on the invoice was wrong so I sent them an email with immediate effect notifying them of the issue to then be told on the Monday that I didn't have a trade account with them even though the application form was filled out nearly 3 months prior to me making the order so I agreed to going for a chat with them the following Tuesday nothing official however the following Tuesday I was unable to make it and I got left a very very very nasty voicemail by Mr linnell himself basically making me out to be a thief when that is something I am not however we agreed that the amount was going to be paid as soon as possible and was left at that however the next day I had a phone call from Northamptonshire Police saying that there had been a report of a theft when when I was under the impression that I had a a trade account with linnell Brothers after a lengthy conversation with the police officer and having them my version of events I will be returning the goods and they will not have any further custom of mine basically the reason I'm writing this review is because their accounts department is very poor their attitude towards customers absolutely stinks and and if they are booking goods out on on people's accounts for other people's materials that is not professional in any way and second to that I was not happy with the products that I received from as soon as they were taken out of the the pallet the goods were chipped damaged they clearly have not been looked after in the yard before for they become into my possession so I am returning the goods under the faulty goods act within 30-days of receivership of them but late and gentlemen please be careful of this particular company because the experience I've had has been absolutely disgusting

Wonderful guys to deal with.I run a company called Rockwood Garden Studios ltd and often use Linnels for their timber.

Very helpful. Fast delivery. They forgot to drop off a bit but cam right back out and brought it over. Also helpful in determining what I needed for my fence. Good value for money.
