Dancers of York

Bought a bag from this online shop, was sent a different one! Contacted shop and told that they had sold out of the one I had ordered so thought I would be happy with the replacement one?! I wasn't happy with the one I had received as my daughter was wanting the specific one we had ordered and were expecting so after chasing up address to return the bag i also had to pay the cost to return it and only refunded the cost of the bag. Very unfair. A message to tell me they were unable to honour my order and asking if i would be happy with a different bag would have been better customer service but at least an offer to pay for the return postage of the bag i was sent that i hadnt ordered as it was not my fault! Just a little warning to people to maybe check they have what you want in stock first before ordering!

Excellent little dance store, like an Aladin's cave

Excellent service. Very helpful when I contacted them with a query about sizing of a gymnastic leotard. My online order arrived speedily with everything exactly as I wanted - I will be using them again.

After just visiting Dancers with my granddaughter's I found Steve and Lynn to be friendly ,very patient and knowledgeable and offer a personal service .The range of dance items on offer are of excellent quality and the choice is plentiful , I would not hesitate to use them in the future .

I brought my 12 year old daughter to Dancers of York for a Pointe shoe fitting. The customer service we received was excellent. From the moment we walked through the door both Lynn and Steve made us feel very welcome. As an extra incentive, the sweets for the kids is a lovely gesture. Thank you so much for a offering an extremely professional service and I will be highly recommending Dancers of York to my daughters dance school and her friends.
