Terrible experience with bouncers yesterday (Walkabout Wednesday). We were waiting in the middle of the line with many people behind us. The bouncers came out and told us to move backwards to start the queue further down so we did. However the 30 odd people behind us just pushed in front of us rather than go behind us. When we tried to explain to the bouncers, they were very disrespectful and dismissive and refused to listen to us. They then proceeded to say we wouldn’t be let in if we didn’t move to the very back of the queue. Another group of girls had the same issue. So we left. Disappointed and won’t be returning.

I had a really good experience at walkabout. My bartender for the whole night was Tom manly (that’s the name he gave us) and he could not have been more welcoming. I genuinely appreciate him for his hospitality so thank you Tom you deserve every tip you get.

We attend every Monday evening, and it has to be one of the absolute best nights of the week. We have had food on occasions which is great value for money. On top of that the staff that work here from your bar to your security outside are friendly, full of banter and all work hard to make the night fantastic. Last but certainly not least- Johnny's quiz is full of life! He makes a tremendous effort to ensure it is that enigmatic that we are back every single week for it. Winning it has been fun, but just attending and having a laugh is more than enough. His witty remarks and the prizes are definitely something to look forward to. The night however, does not end there! Karaoke afterwards when we are all merry (after the deals on the cheap drinks) brings an enormous sense of community in the whole bar. I would recommend a night in walkabout any night of the week, and a big thanks to every single person that pulls together here to make it so!(BTW our team name is Dumb, Dumber and Dumbiest- and we LOVE LOVE THE WALKABOUT!)

Extremely poor service and even worse food. When we told the staff member our issues with the food they insisted we take the plates downstairs to show the manager who then proceeded to be condescending and laughed in my face whilst I explained the issue. Was told we couldn’t get a refund, they offered to give us a can of pop instead (significantly less than the food we had paid for but couldn’t eat). Do NOT go here if you are wanting good customer service or edible food..

Amazing food amaxing staff as always they are very polite and welcoming even the door staff are a great crack. Johnny the quiz master is one of the best i have been and heard he makes it fun and its a relaxing envirmonet the kareoke after is a good night if not been should all try itDumb,dumber,dumbiest team

The female manager Georgia was very helpful. Great service and lovely food.Definitely coming again soon, thank you Jakob for wearing guy liner. Made my night.

The place wasn't great, I needed to ask the staff to clean the dirt tables. Been charged for food they don't even serve but advertising on the menus, wasn't impressed and wasn't a good first impression. For example ordering chicken marsala best of both with extras (charged) and only receiving the normal. Food wasn't great, it was cold and felt like I was in the microwave for a few minutes.Wouldn't recommend, don't think we will go back in the future. Shame the pool tables are a rip off £1.50 per game.
