A great stop, we came here a few times while staying nearby. It’s right on the cycle and bus routes around the area. Staff were great and remembered us on our return. I would highly recommend as a convenient stop for lunch, diner or just drinks.

Food was poor , customer service worse. Lovely area and great potential but all the critical ingredients missing unfortunately.

Beer can chicken was a reasonable size, decent enough meal and fairly priced. Loads of options for drinks as they brew on site. Seemed pretty packed for a Saturday afternoon so be prepared.

Great vibe! I have only been there for drinks so I can't comment on the food quality. Their drinks menu has many options. The service is quick and the staff are very nice.

Asked to sit down for a quick drink outside. Despite there being many vacant tables, were told that they were all booked. We only wanted the table for 20 mins, and surely they weren't expecting 15 tables of people to turn up in that time. The response was but we will have to clean the table when you leave"So don't bother just popping in here

Beautiful venue. Sadly the robotic staff with no personality let's it down. Food is bad and long wait time. Poor management is clearly the problem, unfortunately...

Every year I give this another go since it changed from Y Mochyn Du, and every year I regret it. Shocking rude service, jumped up manager who came to tell us we couldn't have food at the front (despite their website allowing it to be ordered at this table) was obnoxious as hell - blaming us for not adhering to the sign which is ambiguous at best saying Please use this entrance" to enter the pub

Meal nice. Had a vegetarian roast as it's a Sunday. Food just warm. My partner had the burger and his was just warm. Needed to be a lot hotter to be acceptable. Lovely atmosphere

The flowers outside this pub make it look stunning in the summer sunshine.Nice selection of ales and the food was done well.Being close to park and cricket ground, this pub is in Central location.I also enjoyed a friendly chat with the barman about the ales and beers on sale
