Broomfield Launderette

Super clean laundrette. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The price per wash was only £4 which takes £1 coins, and only took 20 minutes for a full wash, and the dryers were super fast which cost 50p for 4 minutes each time. I was so surprised, my clothes were washed and dried in less than 40 minutes!!! Change was available from staff onsite or from the lovely lady in the shop next door.Overall I will definitely be using Broomfield laundrette again and would highly recommend!!

It's the problem you never want to face: your washer dryer has broken down and it's beyond repair. You order a replacement including removal of your broken one and fitting of the new one. But this will take seven days. What do you do about laundry for seven days? I'm too old to be going to my mom with a bag of laundry.I googled laundrettes and found this place and frankly I'm pleased this is the one I tried. The other customers there were helpful. They gave me handy tips about setting up and using the machines there. The washing machines did a perfect job cleaning the clothes, the dryers did their job and birth sets of machines were quicker than the standard home machine. I had a full load washed and dried in the time a washing machine takes to do a full wash. If I ever have another washing machine problem I'll be happy to use this place again.Tips: take change for the machines. Try and have a housemate/partner/spouse drop you off and pick you up because there's only street parking which is in short supply. Take something to entertain you. There's no WiFi so a book, newspaper, music, something like that.

Good place to go. Not too expensive plenty of machines. Would use again. Clean and near city centre. Wash time isnt too long

Used to have the washing done here weekly and today I'm back. The shop is clean and tidy, well managed by John. Why go anywhere else when it's local.Empty shop on Sunday. Weeks washing being done.

My washing machine broke & having four children my washing pile was massive. Especially with the kids being off school. So this laundrette saved the day. Really clean & tidy inside. Smelt clean aswell. The Owner & his staff were really helpful an polite. Definitely highly recommend Broomfield Launderette. £5 coins for the washing machine an 50p for the Tumble dryer. You can also get change inside if you haven't got it already :)

A suitable place for those looking for ease and speed in cleaning clothes if the washing machine breaks down at home

The staff are really nice and incredibly helpful. It costs £5 for a wash and you will need five pound coins for this. The wash lasts 25 minutes. The dryer is 50p for 3 minutes. They do provide change if you need it. I forgot my washing liquid so they sold me some powder. The machines take quite a lot of clothes (two large shopping bags full). I will definitely use them again.

Good laundry and great customer service guy..the only issue is if you wanna look for a parking spot..The dryer only accepts 50p coins.

It is open until 7:30pm but last wash has to start at 6:30pm. Water is switched off at 7pm. Drying is about £2 for a batch of clothes, and the machine takes in 50p at a time. We don't know how it compares to other laundromats, but we are happy with it. We always grab change from shop next door with no issues.

The washing machines are not so hygenic.The prices have gone up:£4.00 (4 x £1.00 coins ONLY) for washing & £0.50p for drying (50p coins ONLY in tumble dryer)-The washing takes around 45 mins & the dryer around 5 mins per £0.50p
