The hotel's proximity to main attractions made exploring the city a breeze. The modern rooms were comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful.Although the breakfast was disappointing, the quiet atmosphere and overall value for money made up for it. I recommend this hotel for a pleasant and convenient stay in York

Nice room, quiet. However we couldn't control the temperature, so felt quite cold. Breakfast was adequate but were unable to have a coffee due to there being only one working machine and huge queues.

The location of this hotel was only minutes away from all the attractions.The hotel was clean and modern.The breakfast was mostly good. It would have been better if they offered other egg options (only scrambled eggs available), and the sausages tasted very cheap with the only flavour being salt. This is not really a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but this would have got it the full rating.

Just returned from 3 nights here, had great service & food at breakfast was fine!1 staff member who stood out was maya. She checked us in, always had a good morning/afternoon" when we passed the desk & was run off her feet as she helped clear tables @ breakfast

Really glad I booked this hotel, nice and close to the city. Clean and looking new inside. a safe bet if you are looking to book somewhere in York...in my humble opinion

Great location within shot walking distance of all the major attractions in York. Fairly modern hotel with nicely appointed rooms, very clean and quiet. My only complaint would be the firmness of the beds, especially the pullout couch we had. Breakfast had a nice selection of hot and cold options that were very fresh of good quality.

Weekend trip to York, location is perfect, with shambles and attractions in easy walking distance. Nice hotel, good room, decent size fridge, comfy beds and nice enough buffet breakfast.Parking can be a challenge so ensure you prebook, as was full when we arrived, and overflow multistory next door currently shut (or was on 18/19 Nov). Very busy at present with xmas market, so finally found carpark half a mile away. Otherwise great stay and would go back.

Wonderful location that is within walking distance of everything. The gym is nice, the rooms are modern, and the staff are friendly. The breakfast on the first day didn't have many options and wasn't refilled like it was the second day we stayed. I'd definitely go back when in York and recommend to others!

Great location a few minutes walk from the main sites. We came while the Christmas market was on, which is literally at the end of the road. Really nice, modern rooms with a comfy bed and pillows. Breakfast was great. Fitness center a plus when the weather got chilly and didn't fancy an outside run!
