Glengarry Filling Station

Gas price is cheaper than those stations in the remote places. Toilet is clean. Good place to come for gas and quick bites.

Stopped for diesel and my wife popped in for a bottle of wine. The lady behind the counter was extremely friendly and helpful. I used the outside water bucket and sponge to clean off some bird droppings and she laughed when I told her, as she couldn't remember the last time anyone had used the buckets. Diesel was way cheaper than the motorway service stations.

As well as petrol, great place if you need some basic amenities such as milk, bread or some toiletries desperately.

On November 13th, 2023 while driving from Edinburgh to Skye our rental car sustained a flat tire. We were able to make it to this gas station and while unsuccessfully traying to contact roadside assistance a young man with a flatbed recovery truck stopped by to put gas. Upon learning of our predicament he contacted his home base shop ADJ Stevenson Recovery Ltd. and they had the exact tire replacement to fix our car. The only problem was that I needed to put air in my car's tire which would've given me enough tire pressure to follow him to the shop, but the air pump at the gas station only took cash and I only had $10 US dollars. I went into the gas station and asked the attendant if she could take my $10 US dollars in exchange for one £. She not only refused my money, but instead gave me £2 out of her own pocket. I was able to inflate my tire and follow the young man to the shop where my tire was promptly changed and we were able to go on our way to Skye. I don't know who this lady is, but her kind gesture would forever be one of the best experiences we had in Scotland. We will forever be in her debt and she will definitely be in our prayers this Thanksgiving dinner. May the Good Lord keep her save and rewards her and her family in the years to come.

Great stop, very small but they have a decent selection of food, snacks, and small goods. The gas is cheaper than many of the other remote stations and the bathrooms are very nice and clean. Only a few pumps but it was not too busy. The attended with friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this for snacks or a break.

This is a handy filling station and smart shop where I found exactly what I needed after having a kid sick in the car: bags, tissues, odor control spray etc...I also looked around and saw loads of useful products when you travel.Clean toilets too which is highly appreciated!

Whats to say. Its a small filling station. Staff are friendly. Has a small selection of papers, chocolate and the usual filling station fayre. Serves Petrol and Diesel, has an air line and is currently part of the Keyfuels scheme.

Fuel was expensive. Quite a cold reception from the guy behind the counter. Doesn’t take Amex but you only find that out once inside. The inside smelt like someone had been smoking in their. Not the nicest thing for my pregnant wife.

Near the junction to Lochalsh so accessible from both west and east. Toilets and friendly service. Great sausage rolls and pies. First annual Glengarry beat-the-microwave pee-run was held here on June 6th 2021.
