Seabrook House Bed and Breakfast

We stayed here for Christmas day and night the food was fabulous and Suzy and the staff made us feel so welcome it was home from home. The room was brilliant and the place itself was better than a lot of Hotels we have stayed in. It was so good we have already booked for next year. Thanks again for a wonderful time.

Great location and fantastic welcome. Unusually, as a man I wear skirts and high heels but even dressed as I was, the friendliest of all the staff was really nice. I had a wonderful evening meal which from a B&B I was not expecting and great breakfasts. I am definitely coming back and recommend it to anyone. Guys - you don’t have to wear skirts to have a great stay!!

Friendly staff. Lovely little room. Nice breakfast. Bit in the middle of nowhere but means there is parking and we quite enjoyed the walk into Hythe. Water pressure was awful though so can't say I enjoyed my shower!

Really can't fault lovely quaint place with great customer service. Dinner smelt amazing, we unfortunately had already eaten before we arrived. Ideally located for a rest stop if using the tunnel.

Not Covid-19 friendly or readyNice location but sadly I need to mention the following about room 3:1. Carpet on the floor dirty and stained2. Kettle only worked when moving the cable3. No TV reception4. No WiFi reception5. Dust everywhere6. Cobwebs everywhere7. Hairs on the bed8. £117 for 2 nights but no breakfast for that price!9. Loud talking from everywhere at 23:46 !10. Wardrobe wasn't cleaned properly11. Old looking towels and bathmat12. Very dated decorDefinitely not worth the money

Stayed for 2 nights while attending a wedding, good value, clean with good size rooms, location excellent for our needs, staff very polite and helpful, grounds could do with some work and rooms are a little dated, but overall a good experience.

Originally thought this place looked lovely in the photos so came to have a look around to see how suitable it would be for me and my family to stay in. Was absolutely shocked to see a fully fledged wasps nest inside of the window bay on the third floor and the two rooms we viewed had dead wasps in the bathroom and toilet with a few flying around, major health hazard! The garden also has old broken furniture dumped around the edges of it and bin bags stacked up along the pathway which leads straight to the kitchen . Very disappointed, definitely won't be going back.

The place has a lovely welcoming cosy feel to it, nice friendly staff, perfectly clean rooms, a very relaxing stay overall! Can't wait to come again!! We've stayed in more modernised 5 star hotels in the past yet the kids said they loved seabrook best!!!!

Great accommodation, some rooms with sea views. Lovely communal areas, conservatory and seating in the garden. Friendly, helpful staff. Good choices for breakfast and well presented. Reasonable prices. We will definitely be going there again.

I have taken a long time to consider and write this review, we booked a year ahead for a family wedding .The initial contact was great, we were booking all but 2 of the hotels rooms.We were promised in writing better prices than booking through booking.com.i have proof of all the details. when we all arrived we were not all put in the rooms we had booked(according to price and ability to pay) One room did not have a working toilet, another the shower was scaulding with no ability to turn it down no hairdryers, no privacy nets on the rooms , they were clean but basic in the most part. The staff were very friendly and tried their best. A special meal was organised for all of us in one sitting which they tried their best but the chef even said he was not used to doing such a large group . Our big issue was when we came to pay, the original agreed in writing price was not used, drinks were charged as duplicates on separate bills. As we did not have the evidence on the day we paid and left but have written since and have had a refund agreed as we were correct. I have now given the hotel 5 weeks with multiple reminders to provide us with the refund, they have not done so .As i promised them if they did not reply i would leave an honest review and contact Trading standards /small claims court etc. So be wary of booking direct with the hotel use an agent like booking.com or similar, keep your agreements and check your bills with a fine tooth comb.
