Heron Foods

Can I just say the staff in this Heron Foods supermarket are incredible. The manger Micheal was so polite and went out of his way to help me look for an item, he was so lovely. Not to mention the beautiful young blonde lady on the till rushed off her feet but was so lovely and handled the queue amazingly! So much respect, highly recommend shopping here.

I had been to a few herons in order to get peanut butter snickers bars but they had sold out.So I ended up in the town and told they've sold out but a member of staff suggested Pallidium shops (as she normally worked there and she'd seen them.As you can see I'm one happy guy,so thanks for great staff

Very handy & friendly staff who always greet you & have a conversation with customers customer service is very exemplary good stock of items very attainable & I always find the store very presentable with the stock displayed so you can see what you need

Heron is our go to shop for our quick bits we need. You also never know what must buy now bargains you might come across.

I usually enjoy shopping Here, however today I came across a real shock.I was buying our groceries and then we had a member of staff called sue. She was so rude to me and my daughter. A white british woman was before us and she was so kind and friendly with her, but me and my daughter wear a scarf around our head and she started throwing stuff at us. No thank you at the end. She pulled a sour face at us.Please get this sorted out

Great offers, but since the cost of living has sky rocketed, it's not much cheaper for most of the goods that you can find in Aldi and Lidl.

You can't beat a Herons for value but sometimes the shops do look a little run down and untidy. I guess it's to be expected with a budget discount store but this Herons was immaculate. Every shelf was full, I didn't see one open box in a freezer which sounds odd but it's quite common to pick something out of a freezer in herons and find the box open. Also there was a member of staff down the isle with soapy water and a cloth wiping all the fronts of the chest freezers. Again this might sound odd or be normal but it's the first time I have seen this happen so thought I'd pop a quick review on to say it was the cleanest and best herons I've been in.

Easy to get to but staff seem like they are racing aldi staff for checkout speed. Most times instead of saying hello to customer they are just chatting on their headsets to each other

The lady who is on the till 8/7/2022 @ 8.45am wow!!! Attitude was appalling, sighing, eye rolling when customers are talking to her, stood with arms crossed like it's the last place on earth she wants to be, banging items back down after she's scanned them the list goes on I won't be suprised if others complain about her, if she treats customers like that I dread to think how she treats her colleagues
