I took in my 100 year old carriage clock to be restored and repaired . That was early in 2019. We got it back yesterday. They did a splendid job but have a huge backlog so don't expect a quick turnaround.

(Written by my Dad who recently got a watch repaired). The Clock Workshop worked a miracle when I came in to get my Dad’s wrist watch repaired, (he passed away in 1974). To my knowledge, the watch has not worked since, but they brought it back to life. I feel like this has resuscitated a part of my Dad. I salute their amazing skill and professionalism. I hope to one day pass the watch on to one of my sons. Thank you.

I sent my late father's watch here after my usual watch repairer couldn't get the parts and Seiko said the same! I knew Steven Fletcher and his team would at least give the watch a sporting chance.The watch hadn't worked for 26 years but after a lot of effort and patience I have a piece of my father back. A fantastic team, super helpful people that go out of their way to get your clock or watch up and running. Really, the team work together like clockwork! My grandfather clock has a very old movement inside a not so original long case, that was in a very sorry state when I bought it a few years ago. Now, the team have worked their magic and I have it back all shiny and running like new. When a movement is serviced, time is taken to assess what is needed to be repaired or replaced and then once this bit has happened, the movement is set on a bench and monitored. It takes time for the parts inside the movement to settle into a natural rhythm before being set up at home, so it’s well worth remembering that you may not have your clock or movement back for a couple of weeks. Believe me it is well worth the wait. It’s lovely to hear the Westminster chimes again. A quartz replacement is not the same!! Thanks to all of you lovely people for being so kind, attentive and friendly. Your warm reception is always appreciated.

I visited this workshop recently to get an estimate to repair my mother-in-laws antique Rolex. Another repairer had already made an outrageous estimate and I became suspicious that they were just trying to sell my father-in-Law a new watch. The team at this shop quickly assessed the problem and produced an estimate, promising to restore the damage to the face as much as possible without having to resort to replacement. The watch was returned to us a few weeks later, exactly on the quotation price, and in absolutely superb order. Not only had the mechanism been fixed and restored to working order, but the damage to the face had been repaired to near-perfect condition, despite the other shop saying this wasn’t possible. The whole watch was polished and restored and came back looking good as new and working perfectly. Thank you so much for taking so much care with this sentimental piece and what a pleasure it was to deal with such a professional outfit that really know their craft. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this workshop.

My 1979 Tissot Seastar had been languishing in a chest-of-draws for the last 40 years and was in need of some long overdue TLC.I contacted the Clock Workshop via email and explained what I would like done to the watch.Sarah could have not have been more helpful and having received the watch for evaluation, took the time to explain the overhaul process including what could and couldn’t be done.From that initial contact the standard of communication never faltered and after the agreed period my watch was returned in full working order and looking great!I cannot fault the service provided by Sarah and the Clock Workshop team and therefore will have no hesitation in using them again in the future. I am very pleased!
