Cambridge Plumbing & Drain did a good job of replacing a drain run from a restaurant without causing any disruption or loss of business. They were efficient, conscientious and polite. I would recommend them.

Please read this review and do not use this man (he is not a registered company as both of his previous companies with this name have been dissolved by company house). It's not possible to give zero stars but when you've been ripped off, you really want to give zero stars. I called Razvan out when we had a drain blocked on a Sunday. He arrived (late because of a tyre puncture) but he started on the work. He then proceeded to work on our drain for 4 hours. We did not know the rules that state that sewage outside of our boundary is the responsibility of Anglian Water. He knew those rules and knew he shouldn’t have been working on their property. He should have diagnosed the issue and told us it was outside of his jurisdiction, but he didn’t. He preferred to carry on working, so that he could charge us £750 to temporarily unblock our drain. He claimed we would get a refund from Anglian Water which we stupidly believed.2 days later the drains blocked again and it turns out he’d just move the blockage further down the street. Anglian Water went directly to the interceptor and cleared the drain in under 20 minutes, because they knew about the interceptor. I also found out that Anglian Water do not repay invoices from private contractors. Again, something he knew about and lied about.I have suggested to Razvan that I would pay £350 as an emergency call out but that he should return £400 to us, as he should never have attempted the work that he did. I have repeatedly contacted him and he claimed he would return the money by 3 December. He has not done so. I am looking at the small claims court.

Razvan was quick to respond, and was available to attend on the day I inquired which was a Saturday, he fixed the problem I had, at a fraction of the cost others quoted without the need for scaffolding tower. Very happy and would highly recommend.

Avoid like the plague!!! Totally useless scammer pretending to be a plumber and ripping off customers, not registered with GAS SAFE or any other registered company and cost me £1000’s in repairs as instead of fixing the water pressure issue on my boiler he just left the filling loop on so boiler lost no pressure and heated continuously for months whilst leaking hot water under the floor,only reason I found out was the local water company said I was leaking a lot of water(hot), upon inspection with a qualified plumber who resolved the problem in under a few hours it turned out to be a basic leak on a joint which Razvan couldn’t find, I contacted Razvan for a explanation and see if is a reasonable man who would admit his mistake,unfortunately he proved me right by denying he had made any mistakes! If your reading this Razvan you will be getting a letter from my solicitors and a call from Cambridge trading standards as I fear it’s only a matter of time where you will kill somebody with your inexperience and shoddy work.future customers please be aware!!!

Razvan and the team did a great job replacing parts of our drainage system. They came within the hour to sort out an emergency and then returned to deal with a bigger problem. Professional, on time and efficient job - would def recommend!

Raz came within the hour to remove an old radiator so we could finish decorating etc. When finished we arranged a day for him to fit the new radiator. It was not as straightforward as we thought, but he got on with it and got the job done. Will definately ring again if we have any required plumbing jobs in the future
