Aspire Adoption

I’ve been trying endlessly to get through to their main office for the last week, and I’ve not been able to get through..

Been told by their staff and social worker that we cant adopt because we are to young at 27 and 33 and because gay people have to many mental issues. When i raised a complaint. Was told they wont look into it and to just go elsewhere.

I spoke to a very condescending lady from the agency about potential adoption. They seem to have a God complex, playing with lives of children, depriving them of being welcomed into a loving, caring home with a professional working couple where all their needs would be met to the highest standard. I understand you can't just hand children out willy nilly but the reason they gave me was just pathetic when they have absolutely no understanding of the current family dynamic. Even people I know who have successfully adopted through Aspire didn't particularly have a high opinion of them. Says it all really.

Manager was highly rude.
