Cheap place to stay, our welcome was really friendly and check in was straight forward to quick although we had booked online.Our room was hot in the summer heat and there is no air-con but there was a fan in the room, TV was quite small and our shower curtain had mould which considering it looked like a new room was a bit disappointing.If you are looking for breakfast don't bother with their rubbish boxes, Harvester is next door and provides a far better option.

Rooms very clean and what you expect in a budget hotel....Good value. Pub next door very welcoming too and decent food. The only cripe was that the male receptionist, on arrival, was not very friendly, he came over as though we were inconveniencing him. If it wasn't for the receptionist who 'waved us off' (extremely friendly) I would have scored service lower. All in all, a decent stay away.

Stayed in this hotel for one night. Rooms were a decent size and very clean. Unfortunately she shower curtain wasn’t great so I flooded the floor in the bathroom! Also we were road facing so it was very noisy with the window open. Good value for money.

Friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Clean hotel and room. Went for a couple nights with my child.Only negative thing to say is location right next to kfc is a slight problem as the constant smell of kfc/oil made me feel a bit sick. Cant blame the hotel for that really. But other than that. Would definitely recommend and I will be back.

We were recently at a wedding at the Manor By the Lake and stayed at the Travelodge just a short walk from each other.I was impressed with the warm welcome from the staff and the ease of checking in. The room was clean and very comfortable. If in the area again, I would definitely choose to stay at this Travelodge.

Pretty good hotel especially for one night stay. Room was large enough but the en suite was definitely on the smaller side, definitely usable though. There is also no hair dryer and tv on the smaller side but if your only staying the night then you can’t complain too much about this. Plenty of parking on site although you do have to pay for it. Also a harvester and KFC on site for dinner if required.

The room was spacious and it was clean. Simple amenities in the room but could it was all that was needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location and not too far walking distance from shops, cafes and restaurants. I would stay again and look forward to another visit here. Highly recommend!!!

In general, the hotel and staff were lovely, we'll situated for us, great having food outlets nearby and easy parking. The downside was the heat in the room itself, granted, it was a hot day, but the temperature in the room was very hot and even with the window fully open, there was no air or breeze.

It’s generally ok. Car park is a rip off, needing to pay in no less than 24 hour periods even if just there overnight or even a few hours. Most of the disabled drivers are blocking the pavement so everyone needs to walk through the car park.
