Don't know much about the pub but it has a couple of pool tables and an outside area and serves beer. The pool tables are both 6 foot and space is limited round the tables but the one I played on plays true. Cant complain on what I went in there for...

I played there in my band. Really like the venue, the owners and the staff. A great music venue with quality bands on and reasonable prices on drinks. Well recommend it.

Saturday night called into for a couple of drinks with 3 others.Not too busy at the time. Good choice of ales and drinks on offer generally. Old style sort of pub with TV's Live Music fighting each other. We had a good visit before we went to our hotel nearby.

A really friendly proper pub. Been in a few times and every time got chatting with lots of folk, such a contrast to the sterile atmosphere of so many pubs and bars these days. Great pint of Robinsons Unicorn, sport on TV and live music some evenings. First impression might be that its a bit rough - it isn't so don't be put off this genuine pub.

Saturday night visit. Good choice of ales. Efficient bar service. Called in near the hotel we were staying.We had a TV above our heads, another screen not far away. Plus a live band in a back room.This spoilt my visit.
