Fairdene Lodge Care Home

It’s a really good one. Friendly, clean, you can see the effort that has gone into designing it. There’s an area that feels like a train carriage, another that feels like a village high street. The staff seem to be kind.

I have visited fairdene Lodge recently and my findings are excellent.. Staff very friendly and welcoming all the residents are happy. This care home has a warming homely feel. The day I visited the home was lovely most of the residents where in the garden singing along to songs from their past.. They knew the words. Brought all residents together and the staff could of watched for hours fantastic place.Keep doing what your doing.

The place is clean and well kept, however the manager is an incompetent tired old heavily overweight lady that has probably not left that chair she's sitting in for months. Made me wait 30min after arriving for an interview and then her ego made the rest of the interview miserable.The questions were so vague that she would start arguing instead of discuss when I said anything. Fellow cooks please avoid this place unless the manager is changed. And if ur wondering why paperwork is taking so long, she writes at 2 words/minute, saw this while waiting for another ~7min in their office.

I have worked in the care industry for nearly 20 years now, from residential to agency to management and I have never in all those years seen a place as wonderful as this! My father is well looked after, always has a cup of tea at request and the staff seem to be happy and attentive. If you're lucky enough to have a family member or friend placed here you won the lottery. Five stars isn't even nearly enough. 10/5
