In my experience at this school they did not help me at all and gave me crippling self confid issues because of my dyslexia I was treated as if I would not make it far in life. Infact I was told that by teachers a couple of times. The bullying and treatment of students is atrocious and all together the school should probably be investigated thoroughly as they would tell students to behave when offstead was coming so that they could get their 'outstanding' appereance i highly reccomend avoiding this school at all costs

This school gave me the issues i have today, this was in the past, they had a special needs centre attached to a mainstream school, way too much bullying, special needs children got called doonits and i was once stabbed in the hand and very badly bullied on a daily basis. This school should be hold responsible for the damage they've done in the past, I know alot of people who have been mentally damaged by their experience in the centre. They treated special needs children as if they couldnt progress in society and the teachers was not symphetic to the issues that was going on. I hope they've changed this today i really do, however for me and many others the damage has already been done. I suffer from bpd which was caused by the trauma of my childhood and most likely the bullying and the way the teachers treated me at this school. And i feel as if these problems should have been picked up as well. So thankyou for causing me that trauma. Id avoid this school at all costs for my daughter whos going to secondery school next year. And ive avoided even going past the school and anywhere near it since leaving. Horrable memories. Special needs children should be treated with the same respect and dignity as other children. Ive learnt well now and progressed thanks to lincoln college.

The school is okay in terms of the learning and work however some of the staff are really unhelpful and do not know how to deal with certain situations like bullying. They tell them to stop and that's it and it doesn't work at all.

me and my friend have been deeply traumatised by our experiences at this school. we feel like our problems were overlooked and were not taken seriously by staff. instead of actually helping with our problems, all they did was say that we're missing out on attendance and therefore would make the school look bad.due to mental health issues, we started missing days off school. we were told to attend school and if we didn't, we would be visited by the education welfare officer (becky), and were also told that our parents would get fined if we didn't attend. we were told that our mental health problems were invalid and that we should show up at school the next day. soon after, we stopped attending school altogether, as our mental health problems only worsened.most students here are chavs and don't care about other people. teachers would tell the students to be on their best behaviour when ofsted were visiting, and then treat us badly behind their backs. thanks to our time here at this school, we have developed more mental health issues that also need addressing. if you're thinking about sending your child to this school, please reconsider immediately; especially if they have mental health issues or learning disabilities. overall, our time at this school has been anxiety inducing, depressing, and all around embarrassing. having to sit in the g.o and hiding in toilets while being denied access to go home is utterly humiliating and degrading. someone should seriously investigate this school because it is NOT deserving of its 'outstanding' report. if you feel like you have been bullied, mistreated or have developed more mental health issues out of this school, like this review so we can take this school down.

Bullying still not taken seriously ,and the have no idea how to deal with the bullying or act on it ,my granddaughters life has been made a misery for over two years now and it's not getting any better ,even on the school bus she has a clump of hair cut off the back .So no i can't recommend this school and advise anyone to ask around before sending children there

The majority of tutors favouritised. More bothered about GCSE results for the school than for the student. Welfare for students declined as soon as I got into year 10. Majority of tutors were extremely one sided and never gave others chance to provided an explanation of the situation. Headteacher is lovely on the other hand and does listen to others.
