Blake Vets

Had to visit Blakes this week and Sue, the Vet was just brilliant. Sue examined the cat and was so gentle with him, diagnosed the problem and recommended the treatment. I was heart broken and although I had not been to the practice before had a great deal of empathy and was sympathetic towards me.Highly recommend Sue of Blake Vets.

Our dog lily was just spayed . Great care was given. Friendly staff, couldn't be happier.

Professional , trustworthy, and honest advice. Always go out their way to fit my dog in with the same vet that she has seen her whole life, which I feel makes it a more personal service .

Took my Shih Tzu at 6pm on Sunday, cost £250 for out of hours visit, had an ulcer on his eye, sent home with some drops, pain killer and lubricant. Paid over £400. On Tuesday took him to another local vets for a second opinion, on Wednesday we had to put our beloved little man down. I will never use Blake Vets again, their charges are extortionate. When calling on Sunday before even saying what was wrong we were quoted the out of hours fee. It was a very clinical experience, when calling to get my dogs records released I did say I was happy with the vet but that was only out of desperation to get the records.

Can't recommend highly enough, so good with our two cats, they're happy to answer questions and they always explain treatment plans and choices. Our boys love the attention they get. We also buy food from them which is 10% off with the pet plan and had them neutered which was 20% off with the petplan which made extremely good value.

Great staff, very freindly + compassionate. Dexter has suffered so much recently, being attacked by 2 other dogs. Wish I New how to proceed.

Have been with this vets for over 30 yrs and have always been pleased with the treatment our animals have received. Do try to see the same vet every time though.
