HSS Hire

Lovely guys in there were really helpful.We needed to hire for saturday only and they let us bring back on monday morning (they are closed sunday) which really helped us out with timings/travel etc

HSS closes at 12 noon not 1pm on Saturdays, update your details on Google !!!

Simon and the staff at this branch have provided me with an outstanding level of customer service, nothing was to much trouble, everything was sorted with the no fuss and politeness. Best price, best service would highly recommend, excellent!!!!

I used the HSS at covers in Bognor regis but for some reason won't come up on my search list for this branch, however, fantastic service from Jonny, from collection to me running over a wire and breaking it on a floor sander it was no drama to him although I was panicking trying to get a job finished, friendly, helpful, he was absolutely brilliant, it might have HSS on the sign but I go back to firms for the good people and I highly recommend you use him, I certainly will on the next job!

A wonderful place to hire tools

Very well organised hire shop for building tools and equipment. The online booking system was slick and easy to use. The pick-up & drop off was quick and efficient and both staff members that I dealt with were knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. Would definitely recommend for builders and home DIYers.

Highly recommend HSS Chichester, I ordered carpet cleaner online turned up to collect and it hadn't arrived in yet so Tony offered to drop it off as soon as it arrives in store. Quick solutions, excellent service all the staff are happy to help. Wish every business I spent money the staff where this happy to help.

Ordered 8 acrow props online for delivery. Had to phone to confirm identification for delivery. Arranged a afternoon delivery, as I finish work at 11.30am. Received phone call around 10am from driver asking why nobody was in? Advised driver to leave in back garden, which he kindly did. Arranged pick up for a week later, again afternoon collection. At 4pm no collection. Phoned Hss and was told that I hadn’t arranged collection, but would collect the following day. Collected following day. Received invoice for £120 for 8 acrow props for 1 week, invoice included an astonishing £30 for delivery & £30 for collection. No mention on website at delivery cost or on either phone call to shop. £60 in total !!!!!Be aware of such costs.....
