Ask them if they are collecting on behalf of someone else, or have they bought the alleged debt.IF they say they are acting on behalf of someone else, remind them you have NO CONTRACT with them and are not obliged to pay them anything. If they call you again, report them to the police for harrassment.IF they say they have bought the debt, ask them to provide you with a copy of the Notice of Default, Notice of Assignment, Deed of assignment, and Deed of Novation. If they say they wont provide these, tell them to FO and ignore them from that point onwards because if they take you to court, you ask for these and they will cave. YOU WIN!

Trying to get a response other than 'you need to pay us' is impossible. If anyone can recommend the best way of getting some form of compensation for their threatening behaviour in trying to recover a non-existent debt, please post it.

Clearly scam, keep ringing and sending letters saying I owe money to vodafone, I paid off my contract with Vodafone ages ago, iv even contacted vodafone who said I didn't owe anything and to ignore this company

spoke to 3 people all of which could not tell me basic information.It would seem that all the people are very poorly trained in most aspects of what would be the basics of the job description.The standard answer is I can not give you that information" the question being who is your iso9001 accreditation body? even though they boast it on the waiting in line tape

Exactly the same issue. No phone support. System doesn't recognise case number. Unable to communicate by email and I must call. No answer from phone. No indication as to what the debt relates to. Impossible to resolve.
