My partner,Lucy,was buried on the 4th August.The Service and Burial went very smoothly on what was a very sad day.Nicola,Sandra and Pall bearers did a professional and caring ceremony.I would like to THANK all of them for their service.

Nicola, Sarah and the team at Walker & Morrell, Gateshead provided an excellent service to me and my family in arranging my mam's funeral. I felt very supported and was taken through each part of the process in a caring and compassionate way. Nicola always got back to me very quickly if I had any questions and was always happy to help. I highly recommend Nicola, Sarah and the team at Walker Morrell in Gateshead, they have recently arranged my dads funeral and I could not fault them, we felt supported from the first phone call and we were guided every step of the way, communication with the family was first class and we felt that dad was being looked after with the utmost respect and dignity, nothing was too much trouble and dad had such an amazing send off, every member of staff we met were so lovely and I would have no hesitation in recommending Walker and Morrell to everyone. They arranged my mams funeral 7 years ago and we received the same high class care and compassion for both of our parents, I honestly can not thank them enough.

This is the 2nd time I've used walker & Morrell. They did my dad's funeral in 2021 & have just done my mams. I could not have asked for a better service. From the 1st contact, Nicola was amazing & talked us through all our options. She made it as easy on us as she could & she made all of the arrangements such as the flowers we chose & slide show for the ceremony. She also introduced us to Val the humanist who did both ceremonies. Mam was so impressed with dad's funeral that she specifically asked for Nicola & Val to do hers. Funerals are hard but these 2 amazing women took the burden from us & made it a day mam & dad would have been proud of.

Walker and Morrell looked after my dear dad's celebration of life after he passed on. Nicola was wonderful, especially with my mam at such a difficult time, taking time to discuss options and choices that would best express my dad's wishes in a professional, empathetic and informative way. Nicola also took time the day before the funeral to talk us through what would happen step by step which was so helpful and reassuring. On the day of the funeral everything ran smoothly, the flowers were beautiful and the silver herse and mourning vehicles were much nicer than black ones. The team were immaculately presented and their attention to detail was faultless. Nicola also arranged a Civil Celebrant (Lyndsey) who was a perfect match to facilitate the service and deliver a beautiful and fitting tribute to my dad.
