1) Staff are excellent, help full. 5*2) discontinued a lot of products I liked, so I don't spend as much as I could do any more.Meat portions really thinned down and bags frozen chicken portions really bad lower quality I think it was one of there new suppliers, they'd be better off using it for dog and cat food. 3*3) security Guard always helpful and attentive 5*4) delivery driver friendly, professional, prompt when delivering 5*

Iceland got banging pizzas and dessert. The store is tidy clean and staff are quick when scanning.

My favourite branch of the Iceland chain especially for its convenient location and opening hours. Occupying the site of the former Woolworths, store stocks a good range of its own brand as well as branded products. Has some lines which are less expensive than the larger supermarket chains. Sometimes queues through the tills can be lengthy but nothing compared to larger supermarkets as shopping quantities will be smaller.

Roll up, roll up, roll up. Are your days hectic, rushed and just full on at the speed of light? Then you need to go to Iceland. No, not the country, I mean the family friendly supermarket chain. Pop along and amble through the aisles, purveying the range of organic, fair traded and locally sourced products. Put your chosen delights into your trolley or basket and make your way to the only cashier on. Stand at the back of the long queue and take a deep breath. Time will now sit still for you. Relax at the slow speed as there is no need to rush, do your makeup, read the Sunday Observer and its supplements, read a few chapters of War and Peace. Maybe chat to the person next to you and tell them about every single holiday you have been on. But whatever you do, just relax and know the humdrum chaos outside the store is not with you now.You can plan your next vacation and maybe take up a hobby that you have not had time to start. The world is your oyster in an Iceland queue. Watch the security guard in the door as he is enthralled with his mobile phone and is constantly looking down at it and playing with the buttons. When your turn eventually comes to meet the cashier remember to thank them for such a slow and refreshing service. If they would have had more cashier's on you would not have had that slowed down, peaceful reflective time to recharge your batteries. Now you are ready for a other installment of the sped up life outside of Iceland's doors.Went in again today (14/06/23)and the queue was horrendous and only one member of staff on the tills. Just had to plonk my stuff down and walk out. I would definitely shop here more often but the lack of staff is a joke here. Used to have a really good veggie section, now it's just rubbish.

I like this shop. They have a very good range of freezer food and party food. I especially like the vegan selection they now have. However, I am concerned about how they store their chicken because I bought a pack of chicken wings and although they were in date, they smelt of fish and I had to throw them away.

Consistently shocking service at the checkouts. There are never enough staff and always long queues. It is clear the management are trying to run the place as thin on staff as possible to save money. Please do everyone a favour and install some self service checkouts if you don't want to pay for additional staff. There are constantly arguments at the checkouts because of this. This situation is no good for the staff or customers. If I got £1 for every time a member of staff apologised to me for the long queues I'd be richer than an oligarch. Kudos to most of the staff for being decent nice people. In general the store is pretty clean and well stocked so no issues there. Please just stop constantly moving the positions of all the items in store every 4 weeks or so. It is highly irritating and unecessary.

This Iceland store is right outside a bus stop which is very convenient as grocery shopping can get heavy. The store is quite small compared to normal sized stores but you can still get a variety of things needed. It is located on the main highroad meaning you won't miss the iconic red shop. Upon entering you can pick up a basket and start you shopping right away. The fresh produce such as fruit and vegetables aren't big so what you see is what you get but following the long isle down you will see many deals and offers which make this store affordable to feed the family. There is only till based payment but it does go by quick. The staff are friendly and the store is very clean. They also have a customer free phone taxi service on the wall which is nice to know for the future. The store entering and exiting is form the same set of doors so it's you going anti clockwise in the store and then coming back out again. Iceland do online shopping too so this may be abetter option for you if you want to buy in bulk and don't want to carry heavy items such as can drinks which are currently on a promotional deal.
