We had an amazing stay. The house was lovely, the food really wonderful and the gardens gorgeous even in the rain.We also had an Incident (unrelated to the hotel) when there, and the amazing owners and family moved mountains to help us. Without giving details, they went above and beyond what anyone would expect, to make sure that we were ok, everything turned out fine and we were amazed and touched by their help.

Came for afternoon tea .3 people in total and had to share a 3 tier serving tower .Was expecting one each with less cakes and more sandwiches .Fab location and service was good .

Fantastic place. Probably the friendliest hotel we’ve stayed in. The staff are all lovely, and can’t do enough to accommodate guests. The breakfast, dinner and afternoon tea’s are top notch. The dinner was possibly the best food we’ve had in Wales. Everything is beautifully presented and kept spotlessly clean. The hotel is surrounded by green fields and accessed via a woodlands drive. The hotel has a warm period character, with high ceilings, ornate woodwork, and a mix of carefully chosen, period appropriate soft furnishings. It’s traditional, but with all the mod cons you’d expect of a small hotel. The ambience and setting is fantastic, and only an hours walk to the stunning Three Cliffs beach. If I had one criticism it would be that the Monta EV charging stations didn’t work, but the hotel manager kindly allowed us to plug into the mains at the rear of the hotel. Price-wise it’s reasonable for the level of service, setting and quality of food. Will definitely be back. A big thanks to all the wonderful staff. You made us feel so welcome.

A warm welcome awaits you in this charming house set in lush grounds. We were supposed to be in the smallest double room, but in the end it was a magnificent cocoon in which to stay. In short, if we come here again, we'll be back!

My family and I recently had the pleasure of dining at this remarkable restaurant that seamlessly blended exquisite cuisine with enchanting Christmas decor. From the moment we drove in, the festive ambiance enveloped us in warmth and holiday cheer. The tasteful, traditional and elegant decorations, adorned with twinkling lights and festive ornaments, set the perfect backdrop for a memorable dining experience. The festive menu, a culinary masterpiece, featured an array of dishes that left our taste buds dancing with joy. Each plate was a work of art, showcasing a harmonious fusion of flavours and fresh, high-quality ingredients. The chef's expertise shone through in every bite, making it a gastronomic journey to remember. What truly elevated the experience was the attention to detail. The whole house and restaurant has been transformed into a Christmas delight, with elegantly decorated Christmas trees, tasteful wreaths, and subtle touches of holiday magic throughout. The ambiance was not just visually appealing but also enhanced the overall dining atmosphere, creating a perfect balance between sophistication and festive joy.Nicci and her team of attentive and friendly staff added to the charm, providing impeccable service that complemented the culinary delights. It's evident that Nicci and her team take pride in delivering an extraordinary dining experience, going above and beyond to make everyone feel special. In conclusion, this restaurant not only exceeded our expectations in terms of food quality and presentation but also created a magical Christmas atmosphere that made the entire dining experience truly exceptional. If you're looking for a place to savour outstanding cuisine while immersed in the festive spirit, this establishment is an absolute gem.Merry Christmas!

We were there for a wedding reception. What an amazing place the staff where exceptional in fact the whole place was. The food was top dollar, I would recommend the Manor house for anyone who wants good old fashioned service. The owners can be very proud of this venue. I cannot comment on the rooms as we did not stay ,but speaking to the guests who did they are very comfortable. Perhaps we will have a weekend there in 2023.

Lovely afternoon tea in a beautiful renovated building.Only negative was that four people had to share one tray for afternoon tea and they combined the vegan/veggie/dairy free ones so it was harder to know which is which. Would be best if everyone had their own separate afternoon tea.

Enjoyed a wonderful weekend break at this lovely hotel, set in extensive parkland and within 15-20 minutes walk across open countryside ro 3 cliffs Bay and a neolithic archaeological site. Comfortable, large, clean rooms. The staff clearly try to ensure the guests are happy and genuinely seem proud of the work they do: unusual these days! The food was of a very high standard the menu broad and garnished with some unusual items (aranchini, afogato). Dietary restrictions and allergies are clearly catered for. The hotel hugely contributed towards a wonderful weekend.

Stayed here 11-13th June 2023, choice made on the strength of the reviews here and we were not disappointed. It is a lovely old house with tons of character and beautifully maintained. The staff make it truly special, there isn't really any kind of reception, just a desk inside the door with a bell to ring if needed and that really sets the tone of the place, almost not like a hotel at all. The grounds are beautiful, enormous lawns with the grass cut short. The location is perfect and oh so quiet, breakfast is a special treat - kippers, real honey straight from the hive, everything perfect. Stayed in one evening and ate in the restaurant - would be a match for any top London venue.
