Crown street is a spacious outlet with all assortment from apparels to grocery. Well stocked and sometimes you will get great deal of deodorant , cosmetics and candles.

Not really impressed.Smaller Poundland much better as they have more variety like the one at Glasgow fort.My kids weren't happy with lack of toys. The whole back wall could be used accommodate more variety of toys.

I only recently discovered this place and it’s really handy for me. So I now visit regularly. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and often like to chat. My only gripe is that I’m wheelchair reliant and I use an electric wheelchair to get around. They don’t have baskets only trolleys which makes it extremely difficult for me to shop here. The disabled trolleys which clip on to my wheelchair I find these devices extremely dangerous because they are awkward and tend to have a mind of their own. I’m used to the length of my wheelchair and so I am able to judge gaps without really thinking about it whereas if I had one of those contraptions attached I would be crawling at 1mph around the store with extreme difficulty in turning. I would probably have every single isle wrecked in the process! However with a small basket I can hook it over my left arm and steer my wheelchair with the right hand. So when I go into the store I’m forced into taking a trolley and driving around the store in extreme difficulty and discomfort trying to hold the trolley off the floor to enable me to steer safely around the shop. The problem with this is that the medical condition I have affects my arms quite badly so they are extremely weak that’s why I use an electric wheelchair because I have very little power in my hands and arms. The problem trying to wrestle with a heavy trolley and the difficulty and pain of trying to hold it up off the floor so I can move around leaves me with pain and limited use of my arm for days at a time. I think there has to be an option for customers to use a basket. I think it is wrong assume that every wheelchair user is comfortable using the trolley that clips onto their wheelchair. They are extremely difficult to use. The other alternative is to have someone from the store walk round the isles with me, but that makes me nervous because I like to take my time and choose stuff at my own pace. I struggle with sensory overload problems so if someone was walking around with me talking etc I would be overwhelmed and completely muddled up. I wouldn’t be able to do anything. The shop itself is brilliant and all the staff are amazing but as a disabled person I wish that the store was more accessible for wheelchair dependent people like myself.
