Lansdown Grove Hotel
We're just home from a lovely stay at The Lansdown Grove Hotel. The room was very clean, cosy and comfortable but it was a bit noisy with the traffic outside. We had breakfast the next morning which was delicious! Once we ordered breakfast we didn't have to wait long the service was very fast. The location was very good but the hill could be abit of an issue for some people if they're planning on walking into town. However it only takes ten minutes to walk there.Overall a great stay and would definitely go back again!

Beautiful Georgian Hotel, with perfectly styled rooms, and refreshed bathrooms. The restaurant has a great wine selection and a mix of delicious modern and classic cuisine. Very convenient to the town centre, you can walk or catch the bus, and there's a large parking lot nearby. Can't wait to come back

The hotel is very average. The staff are very friendly, and there are tons of parking spaces (around the hotel not just in front). It's location is right at the top of the hill so bit difficult to walk back from Bath town centre. The rooms are very dated, they're transparent there's no AC but still. The layout is like a maze. The lift can't handle more than 2 people and looks like it'll break any moment. Also room window had dead bugs on it.

A grand hotel! Our room was small, but it had everything we needed. It was a quiet room, overlooking the garden and big old Cedar. We had dinner and breakfast in the spacious restaurant- expensive, so make sure breakfast is included in the booking. We easily got there by the park and ride bus.

Lansdown Grove Hotel
We stayed at the Lansdown Grove Hotel for one night during a trip through the UK and unfortunately it was quite disappointing and not worth the money we spent. Overall, the hotel appeared quite nice from the outside and the lobby and the rooms were definitely on the spacious side but the building is very old and you could hear every step that was taken around and above you. The room could have been cleaner. At night it gets incredibly hot even when the outside temperatures are comfortable but a small fan was already provided. Windows could only open a little bit. The location of the hotel wasn’t great for us as we were travelling by train but there is a bus that can take you up there so you don’t have to walk up the hill with luggage. Check in isn’t until 4 pm which we found very inconvenient and while luggage was stored for us, there was no option of having them brought up to the room to avoid the lengthy check in process when we came back much later in the day. Some members of staff are quite rude, when we called beforehand to inquire about a few things we were brushed off and just repeatedly reminded that there was no free cancellation for our stay. Also the hotel got hacked a few days before our stay leading to us almost getting scammed over payment. For what’s available in Bath it’s definitely a more affordable option but considering the price we would have rather stayed the night somewhere else and just came for a day trip to Bath.

I was given a very small room on the top floor (3rd) under the roof. No air conditioning and no possibility to open the window sufficiently.A small fan was useful, but insufficient to compensate. A very unpleasant summer night....Kindly, reception offered to compensate by offering that night's car parking.
