Reported pregnancy on 17th Aug, was sent a link of self-referral which I submitted ,no response received, had to attend early pregnancy unit due to complications on 19th Aug,I mentioned to midwife and she done another referral in front of me , next received phone call from midwife (who was on her annual leave) she done referral again for me since I hadn't received any response from hospital still (this is now 11th Sep) she told me to wait to receive a confirmation letter from hosp.I had first appointment yesterday 17th Oct with community midwife where she was quite surprised on the fact that I haven't had, my initial scan yet, no blood test or glucose tolerance test, since I am 16 wks so far now.She gave me hospital triage number to contact on which I did call on and after speaking to them they said I need to speak to booking office which I then tried and was informed it only opens between 9:30am and 11:30am.So upon calling them today and after speaking to the relevant department I have now been informed that I haven't been referred to the hospital at all and have been advised to spk to GP to refere me to hospital.According to staff who I spoke to on the phone she has assumed that most likely referrals were made through an online link and instead these referrals should have been made through email.(thats the possible reason she cant see me on the system)Also been informed they have very less availability for beds.So after 8 wks of reporting to Gp and having spoken to 3 midwives I still haven't been referred to a hospital,In result I haven't had 1.intial scan from hospital 2. No blood test yet 3.Glucose test 4. 2nd scan should be due by 20 wks which most likely will be missed too due to midwives or GP's were unable to refere me.So who needs extra training here GP , CITY HOSPITAL MIDWIVES (who are unaware how to refere a patient to another hospital. Or is it booking department of Women's hospital ???)keeping in mind when I was pregnant with my 2nd child , city hospital staff was unable to follow the plan consultant had made and ended up changing plan without speaking to consultant in result I had stillbirth .Here I am now with my 4th Pregnancy and it seems like midwives from city hospital are still unaware of how to refer a patient to another hospital.Community midwife also advised me to go to antenatal unit of the hospital since I need my blood test done ASAP which according to the hospital I chose, is again a wrong advice since there is no confirmation of me being booked in that particular hospital yet)

Older Asian woman who wears glasses at reception extremely unhelpful. A woman and child who couldn't speak English properly approached the woman at reception asking for a taxi to be called, she literally kept fobbing them off towards the back, the little kid kept coming back to her for help but she kept saying the same thing. You can clearly see they are struggling why not just get up from your damn chair and help them out? In the end a member of the public went and helped them. And as for the black woman with short hair, glasses and mitie jacket, her presence there is irrelevant. She just sits there on her phone laughing at god knows what. She could've helped that mother and child, but she just stayed sitting there on her phone. My advice- re-train current staff and teach them to be more compassionate and helpfull!!!

I do not understand How did the NHS grant license to Aston pride ?The doctor's are ok but the staff is so so so rude they don't care abt patients also the phone line has no meaning. I made complaint to the manager abt the staff and phone line but she is the same. She don't care. When you start to talking to her It looks like he's just woken up.I suggest to everyone please think here and register.

Worst surgery I have ever dealt with. I am a carer, I am disgusted at the level of service this surgery provides all staff including doctor's are rude! They are not caring it's no wonder they have received 'improved required' from CQC. They definitely need to improve from reception to doctors and referrals. I have never received such terrible service in my life. I will be moving from their surgery.

My experience with the surgery has improved so much other the years. The care and support I have received for myself and children by Dr Crowe is above and beyond. I will be forever grateful for picking up my daughters diabetes.

Smelly environment and staff not bothered about the appointment timing. People whose appointments were after us been seen and forgotten to call us. It’s over 2hrs after appointment we are still waiting.Awful customer service and midwives are not available

If I had the option to give no stars I would do. They hired a bunch of dimwits to work at reception, who have horrendous attitude, not to mention the interfering security guard who likes to shout and has a face of thunder at all times. She's just a plain nasty lady! This is meant to be a place of care where people go in their time of need, but facing or conversing over the phone with these bulldogs that you've hired leaves people feeling even worse. This place has gone down big time, compared to how it was when I was s child. Reception need to focus on their job at hand and not try and be doctors. Security guard needs to be sacked!

So when I call the surgery I get informed all appointments are booked and all call backs are only booked at 8am. You can only call at 8am, if anything happens after this time I was informed we send you to the closest walk-in centre. So clearly no point having these guys as your registered doctor when you can go to a walk-in centre! Ridiculous service, no regard for the communities needs. Got a hefty package from Aston Pride and a building to provide the worst service. I would love for someone from the management to give me reply. So it took you a while to reply! Wow so you avoided how patients can't book appointments after 8am and get told go to your local walk in centre. I couldn't really digest your reply which was so full of.....BS. anyways answer queries that patients have even after 8am. I have videos and pictures of Newtown (Not the Aston Pride site) showing less than 1 patient attending and the site is completely empty, yes there's covid but your saying there are no appointments for us, how can that be? Surely things don't add up? To get a call back from a doctor is just another traumatic experience let's not even go there. Please for heavens sake train your staff to speak politely, what you calling up for"...."no appointments today call back tomorrow bye". The duty manager doesn't even attend the phone
