An Independent tool store that is a bit of an Aladdin’s cave for any tool user with a huge range of tools, tool boxes and tool totes etc... even come accross some real unique niche tools that i have only ever previously seen in my Grandfathers shed.Can be a little more pricey than the chain stores for some items but that’s to be expected for an independent, however the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and have gone out of their way to help me out on several occasions which you do not get from the chain stores.

ignore halfords, homebase, all the big internet chains, these guys know what they're talking about. I came in to get a specific drill bit to drill out an M8 stud, they were friendly enough to talk about why i was in, then actually recommended one even more appropriately sized and knew exactly why it was that size and what it was for.In the modern world of internet sites, and big chain stores, this kind of expertise, customer service, and stock on the shelf is actually very rare. They got me out of a fix. Apart from that it's an aladdins cave, and anyone who fixes their own car, could easily spend thousands in there.

Been into this store a few times. Yes can be a little more expensive hence the 4 stars, but it's nice and close! The guys are very helpful and friendly, I've always left the store happy with the experience

Highly recommended . Couldn't have been more helpful to find a battery charger for our grease gun even took one out of a brand new drill box and sell to me. Fantastic and great to have a chat with. Thanks gentlemen excellent

This is my wife's Log in, I'm Jon.I've been purchasing tools from David Hunt Tools, since they started at ? Green, near Reading, I believe in the early '60s.My first purchase was sets of Elora open end and ring spanners in Whitworth BSW and BSF sizes, followed shortly after by a set of Elora BSW/BSF sockets, the only problem was the 1/2 ratchet wrench which broke in the mid 2000s

Staff are very rude and arrogant. Better tools at cheaper prices with staff who posses people skills at Drews in reading. Been 3 times recently spending over £500 on tools alone since I'm working round the corner and tbh it's always the same. 10/10 will avoid in the future.
