Lovely reception staff and vets. Very accommodating and they offer a selection of flea and wormer treatments.

Really friendly and respectful team on reception. I had to take my little hamster there as he passed away and they were kind enough to take him and get him cremated. Thank you to Oakham Veterinary Hospital for the help.

I have had an incredible experience with this Veterinary Hospital. It was my first time using them as my local vets didn't appear to want to help and I waited over a week for a call back. So I gave Oakham a call one morning and they were out to me by the afternoon. I had a very lame pony who was in a lot of pain and I couldn't be more grateful for their support in trying to get my pony back to comfort. They have ensured her welfare is utmost importance to them by monitoring her journey from start to finish and changing elements if they were not working. They asked me to update them on her progress regularly and they updated me everyday whilst she was hospitalised which gave me great reassurance. Without them, it is likely my pony would not be here with us today. I would not go anywhere else now!

The best vets I have ever visited. We were transferred over for dental surgery for our cat Milo. The staff are brilliant, they explained every little detail and the entire place is so welcoming. If we lived closer we would absolutely without hesitation have Oakham as our vets. Milo is such a happy boy now that he's had his surgery and it's all thanks to Oakham veterinary hospital.

Oakham Vets have always been amazing for us and our 3 pets. Since using them we’ve had a seriously ill cat and a dog have a knee operation, as well as many routine checkups. Every member of staff has always been so kind and informative, we can’t fault them or the care that they offer our pets. We recommend them to all our friends and wouldn’t take our furries anywhere else.

Carnt fault them in saving our little girls life with endless amount of treatment and care. Dispite being bank holiday weekend they gave her their all to make her better and we was invited in daily to see her so we were kept up to date.

I would like to give my heartfelt thank you to everybody at OVH for their kindness and care when it came to my boy 'Muck' on Saturday afternoon. The professionalism and care was second to none. I will be forever grateful to you all ❤️

Wonderful Veterinary hospital with brilliant vets and nursesOne or two very unpleasant and unsympathetic females on the admin side who need to be removedAlso horrified that in an emergency at weekends you have to trek off to a Peterborough practice 20 miles awayThis is unacceptable !Sorry won’t be using OVH again !

Excellent dental care set up. Knowledgeable, trustworthy team, friendly and always helpful.

The vets have been fantastic dealing with my horses laminitis, there for 5 long weeks but they let me visit each week, daily updates every morning, the vet dealing with her called once a week and on our visits back for xrays and shoeing with their excellent farrier the staff have been genuinely excited to see her as she wasn't the easiest patient, last trip today and given clean bill of health though still remedial shoeing done by my own farrier, they also don't overcharge which is great and I wouldn't go any where else if I needed truly expert and kind advice, they truly care about the horses that are there understanding what us owners are going through
