This is a small and wonderfully talented family business. We have just had our long case clock face very sympathetically restored by Carol. We were anxious to retain the sense of age of the late 1700's piece and could not be more delighted with the result. The holes have been filled in and the features enhanced. The cracked look has been retained and still looks in keeping, it is still off white so it still looks very old. It now looks like a very old yet well maintained face rather that one that had its better days firmly behind it. We are so lucky to have such talent so close to us and will remain very grateful for the restoration work done. This team are certainly value for money I have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

I left two leaded glass book case doors for repair with Mark. Not only did he replace the glass panes but also repaired the lead frames. A superb job. The doors now look as they did when new. He also repaired some slight damage to the wooden frame. I cannot speak highly enough of Mark's work and will recommend him and will certainly use his services again.

We stupidly bought an antique chest of drawers online. It arrived in a worse condition than we had anticipated. It had deep gouges and scratches on the top, scratches on the sides, the feet were loose and there was a chip on one of the drawers. Mark went above and beyond to restore this beatiful piece back to its glory! We are dlighted with the work he has done and our circa 1750 chest looks beautiful at the top of our stairs. The gouges and scratches have gone and it is polished to perfection! A huge thank you to Mark, I can highly recomment Marbury House Antiques. I have attached some before and after photos.
