Good views of Portsmouth and surrounding areas, expect to see a load of boy racers in terrible cars though if you go in the evening. If you're lucky enough you'll see some cool motorbikes too.

My visit was between 2 am and 4 am one mid week evening/morning. There is quite a few car parks one of which is quite large with a permanent cited burger van. Each parking area I visited was extremely littered with takeaway food wrapping/packaging, plastic bottles everywhere. I did note there were only public refuge bins on the larger car park and mostly cited around the burger van.I was quite appalled at the thought of all the wild animals in the area, having to put up with this almost toxic environment, and also the ramifications of this being right on the doorstep of their habitat’s And almost no hope of its cessation…

What better way to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon than appreciating what lies on your doorstep. The views are stunning on a clear day. From Hayling Island in the East, Isle of Wight directly in front and the High rise of Southampton to the West.Solent water links all three and is busy with yachts, commercial shipping, ocean liners, cross Channel ferries and local services to the Island. Often Royal Navy vessels can also be seen entering or leaving Portsmouth Harbour.We are so blessed. Please enjoy.
