Beautiful venue, drinks are premium drinks premium prices, expect to pay a bit more due to location. Car park is at the rear of the hotel, too floor of multi storey, not suitable for high top vans or low chassis cars, £10 per night from check in u ntil midnight the next day,

Nice hotel in a great location on the quayside.Rooms a bit tired and dated, and would benefit from a more contemporary style of decoration.Breakfast - bit of a let down. Service was good, but expected so much more from a hotel chain of this reputation.Parking is very easy and convenient (top floor on the mscp car park out the back) and costs around £10 at the hotel reception.

Lovely hotel! BUTWent to the spa which was amazing, and the to the breakfast is highly recommend.I think overall I was disappointed because my wife got sick shortly after dinner, in hotel, allergy started. She has a fish allergy and I don’t know how but there must of been some cross contamination or something because she was not well.The window in the room wouldn’t close so it was quite cold all night to be honest. It was my wife’s birthday so I ordered the premium room with a river view and I appreciate work has to happen but there was scaffolding blocking the view from the room and restaurant, a shame but it is what it is unfortunately, it takes the shine off. Would be a lovely view normally.It has potential to be a great place and I wish it was perfect so sound crazy based off this review but I’d would try again because I can see the potential. They just need TLC to a few small thing if they want to keep up the luxury imageUPDATEspoke to the hotel staff and hotel manager, both lovely people and very accepting of issues and faults.Great group of people and restored my trust in this location to be fair.

Excellent service right from the get go! Staff were fabulous and attentive. Lovely atmosphere throughout the hotel, nice bar and the food in the restaurant was also excellent, waiting on staff again were a credit to malmasion and I 100% recommend if you’re in town! Thanks and see you soon

Really nice hotel, feels really high end with very comfortable rooms. The staff are amazing. Tessie and Tirso who run the breakfast service were the highlight of the stay. Absolutely wonderful and made me and my partner feel very taken care of!

My Daughter and I had a spa day with lunch , we both enjoyed the the experience of the spa the staff were exceptional. I had a Iolanda taking care of me she was very attentive explaining everything that she would be doing , my daughter had Rhiannon and equally said how friendly and attentive she was ...we then had lunch which was superb, we were served by Tessie who was such a friendly person making our experience so good, nothing was a bother to her ... we will definitely be back... Thank you for making us feel special

Rooms were comfortable, food was decent and the location on the quayside was exactly where I needed to be so it worked really well. The hotel feels a little 'dark' lighting-wise throughout, but other than that it's pretty decent, for the money.

Beautiful Hotel in an extraordinary position near the Millennium Bridge. If I come back to Newcastle will come back here for sure! Kind and warmly welcoming staff.
